ricky turns it over.......
Who the the Melbourne side doesn't?
-
We're officially screwed. Obviously Bailey doesn't give a rats about what it actually takes to win a game of football.
Does rubbish spew naturally from your keyboard or is it you? You are obviously very wrong in your assessment of Dean Bailey.
-
So why couldn't he even generate a 10 minute burst of enthusiam from them after quarter time or half time? He seems totally incapable of generating any passion in them.
I doubt anyone could instil some passion into a group that is getting hammered at half-time in the last game of a shocking year. There was a large amount of 'let's get this over with' in yesterday's game.

If this ensures the club becomes all the best of chums (cronyism, single agenda) with all of the boys able to, single mindedly, sail into that uncharted territory of financial security, navigating the shoals to that promised land of multiple premierships, then I’m fully supportive.
Therein may lie a future problem. There is nothing wrong with differing opinions.

Ha! KC. I bet he'd be rapt!
Yeah well done Barry!! When I was at Sandy games I always wondered who you were. I pictured you to be a short old guy who spent his days at TBO wondering why Chris Lamb never made it at AFL level. Anyway, I look forward to hearing from KC, he must be honoured to be entrusted with continuing the tradition!!!

Is someone who decided twice they didn't want the job the best possible candidate?
Not at all IMO.
-
When Brad Green had the drop on Monfries at CHF, and climbed all over his back, converting what should have been a "gimme" free for holding the ball(and a shot from 40m. straight in front) to an obvious free against for "in the back", I nearly spewed.
You are kidding right? Monfries heard Green coming, took a short step and started to drop at the knees before Green even began to tackle him. The only way Green could have avoided giving away the free was to not tackle him at all.

TRADES: Wheatley, Bell, Green
Yeah, lets trade Wheatley and Green.....two of our best players this year.
Green will be Captain next year. Players who can kick like Wheatley are an asset, look how our point kick in's suffered without him on Sunday.
-
Firstly he resigned Harris and then sacked him costing us alot, then he ignored advice and hired McNamee, costing us a small fortune. Debt Demolition Month just got alot harder
Don't worry about facts hey Roost It. Paul Gardner did not re-sign Steve Harris. Who's advice did he ignore when McNamee was appointed?
-
......and plays for Sautner in the process. He is not a team player and not a on field mentor by any stretch of Newton.
Agree, you could see on Sunday he was spewing when Holland or even Maric got infront of him and took a mark.

I had a look over at 'ology and Y_M is having a whinge he was given a 4 week holiday from here.
I have to ask why? While I actually think he really has no idea, everyone is allowed an opinion for goodness sakes. That is why it is a forum, opinions are allowed to be opined upon. The over sensitive nature of these forums is ridiculous to say the least.
The continuous abuse of a player is not on IMO. I'd say that is why he has been banned.

F.....Zomer........Newton......Wonaimarri
Who?
-
Strange how everyone is accusing North of inflated numbers, but assume that ours are all genuine.
Maybe we are in for a rude shock next year?
No we aren't. Only a handful of non-MFC supporters have signed up as MFC members this year.
-
i think that he could be a good inclusion into our side and we could move him into the forward line to postpone his career
I think his career has already been postponed.....
-
Which way do we go?
We do both. The MFC are putting in $500,000 to Casey Fields to help improve the facilities. In return the Casey Council is going to give the MFC $500,00 worth of land out there somewhere. That land will be a tangible asset for the club and will appreciate remarkably in value. Getting involved at Casey is clearly a good idea. The Olympic Park precinct is also a fantastic idea and will provide the MFC with a great administration base and state of the art training facilities (gym, pool etc) right across the road from our traditional home, the MCG. We can afford to do both, you are wrong to suggest otherwise.
-
From memory they are Victorian. Didn't Warnock play for Sandy before being rookie listed by us?
Yep. He grew up in the Sandringham area.
-
We must be tanking, Bode is still in the team.......how many contests can you shirk and still get a game?
-
It struck me that the effect of his comments was to elicit an FU from the scum supporters.
Thanks you *&^%$ for that - presumably mission accomplished.
I reckon you are way off the mark there.

I'm hopping mad at Mark Robinson's sensationalist article in today's Herald Sun -
I agree with Mark Robinson Jack, and I don't see what freedom of speech has to do with it. There is a large amount of absolute rubbish written on all supporter websites. While some of it is harmless and sometimes funny as well, often there are personal attacks on players. Wanting some dropped for some reason is one thing, but chucking anonymous insults at players is stepping over the line IMO. The Bruce\Green are soft threads and posts on here are perfect examples. When Mark Robinson pots players in his articles he isn't doing it anonymously.

Typically both Foxtel and Seven are showing the same game on Sunday in the ACT and NSW
... Sydney v Bulldogs.
Ridiculous!
On the positive side it will probably mean that we'll have our first win.
Replayed on Foxtel at 7:30pm and Seven at 11:59pm
Thank you very much AFL!
How dare they show the Sydney game into NSW and the ACT!!!
-
This your idea, or did you hear it on radio?
-
Thanks Baz [and BarPen] what injury has Stef Martin sustained?
Not injured a such, he is suffering from some sort of illness. He wasn't 100% all week.
-
Sautner got off on appeal.
-
Don't worry, they won't get to train there, the MCC won't allow it.
The dynasty is over ...

Not committing to an extension is not the same as severing the relationship..........Sandy ended it by joining with St Kilda. Sandy didn't even offer the MFC the courtesy of letting them know before publically announcing they were going with St Kilda.
