Caro didnt put these guys on the front pagee - the AFL did.
No, the player's individual clubs did. The AFL simply said they were investigating.
How are Anderson and Co. being hypocrites?

Wardy still has plenty of tow for an old bloke - I'd have him every day of the week.
You can have him, he's not in our best 22.

Never runs up the ground "O'Keefee" style.
That wasn't his job. Lynden Dunn was playing that role yesterday.

I think everyone has overrated Jones game, but I'll watch the replay and keep an open mind.
I think Jones game was good and bad. He did some good things in close but also made some schoolboy errors, e.g. running over the mark. He should learn from that though.

No problems from my point of view. It's like the third umpire in cricket to the extent that it's an effort to get umpires to make better decisions.
Point taken Fan, bu the third umpire in cricket is only there and used for when the central umpires are unsure what the correct decision is.

I would like dissenting umpires to turn and look up at the match referee and wit their index fingers draw the shape of the box and TV replay will make the best call with the assistance of the third (oops sorry tenth) umpire
I was thinking they could just form a committee with all 9 to discuss it, so the goal umpire at the opposite end of the ground could trot down and put in his 8 cents worth in. They seem to like to have group pow-wows about decisions and get input from someone who wasn't in the same postcode as the play.

The AFL has decided to use the Melbourne v Hawthorn NAB Cup game this weekend to trial allowing all 9 umpires officiating to pay free kicks.
I think this ia a joke of an idea. What if a boundary umpire, a goal umpire and the field umpire all want to pay a different free kick at the same time? Which fluro
maggot'sumpire's decision will stand? Don't we have enough problems with different umpires interpreting the same thing differently without adding 6 more? What does everyone think?

FF: Green, Robertson, Godfrey
Godfrey in the forward pocket Rhino?????

Neitz will be playing on Sunday.

with all the reports that i have read on this forum, we are very hungry for success. That is very good to hear
I just hope we dont put too much pressure on ourselves
Brock 4 brownlow chance
Every team is hungry for success. It's hardly a revelation.

I was having a look at the fixture and there is often 3 games on sat night.
Umm, no there's not.

It's a pity, but the club website is the last place I look for up to date information about the club!!
Hopefully this will change this year.....but I doubt it.
Go Dees - not long to go now.
The website is run by Telstra.........need I say more.

Have a look at some of the replays of last years games, particularly the second Sydney game where CJ got 5 possessions in a game where we were injury depleted and needed our depth to step up.
CJ was quite sick that day with the flu.
This is my pre-xmas side, with St Kilda in Round 1 in mind.Bartram will definately not be ready by round one and Sylvia is very unlikely. Petterd is closer than you might think.
B: Whelan, Carroll, Holland
HB: Bell, Rivers, Ward
C: Travis, Bruce, Green
HF: Pickett, Miller, Bate
F: Davey, Neitz, Robertson
R: White, McLean, Macca
I: CJ, Jones, Moloney, Jamar
Not bad Finks. How about Warnock in for Holland though? Don't see a match-up for Ben against the Saints.

Ummm ... why do you think he was picked?
Because he is possibly good mates with Weetra!!!
-
But from your last note I will take it you're the cerebral type.
I was thinking more of the 'Lone Ranger' type Rhino.

Why would the AFL care about that? Adelaide need to realise that their player has done the wrong thing and needs to accept the consequences of his actions.
I'd be suprised if they get the 12 weeks that was circulating yesterday.
