List changes who do we cut, trade or go after.
Minimum 3 from the draft, though all 3 could be rookie upgrades and taken with a teams last 3 picks in that draft.

Farewell Sam Frost
This cannot be underestimated. No he is no world beater, but he is a vastly superior defender to Oscar. No point having depth if they scrape the bottom of the barrel (OMAC).

Josh Jenkins
oh thank god.

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
They have form Blister, they gave up pick #2 for Lachie Weller too. FMD.

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
Love your attention to detail here Beetle. Rivals @Demonland's brilliance!

I think that will suit us, given how slow we generally move the ball, a bloke with real acceleration would be out of kicking distance by the time the ball holder decides what to do with it.

Suns chasing mediocrity? How does one reward such stupidity with a PP?

Yep, Shockers would need to chuck in their first rounder or Cerra for it to even come close to consideration.

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
I'm sick of the club and supporters playing the victim card. We were in a PF 12 months ago. We are screwing ourselves, not the AFL. Chances are (going on previous draft history) the best kid in the draft won't come from the top 2 picks, thus we have a chance of drafting him with the #3 pick (not that i think we will have much luck there either - but you never know). With so many places to fix on our list, the difference between pick 2 & 3 will be negligible if our aim is to improve our team as a whole.

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
It is what it is, if it helps them then fair enough, if not then we can attempt to trade for Rowell or Anderson in 2 years time. Have a shot at Ben King, if that doesn't come off i'd try and bring in a Young/Ash along with Langdon, Tomlinson and possibly Elliott. Unless the deal is too good to refuse, i wouldn't 'split' the pick. What upsets me the most is that we are in the position of being affected by not getting the #2 draft pick in the first place (we shouldn't be anywhere near the bottom of the ladder, and yet we are).

Yes Christmas came a week early for me @pitmaster ?

The calumny of the AFL's priority pick policy
It's not as if it was to be unexpected. Let's go fishing with pick 3. Try and go after King?

Splitting Draft Pick 3
Who knows. They'll probably keep it all hush hush up until the draft, Jason Taylor will be all set to announce the #2 draft pick, then Gil will butt in with "selection 2.........Gold Coast"

WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
That's the problem though DS. Goodwin won't care if it fails, as he would've been given the [censored] by then. Goodwin is gambling with the medium/long-term health of the club trying to save his own skin. That's the part i don't like.

Welcome to Demonland - Alan Richardson
I think the title of the position is superfluous. Just another to provide an opinion i guess, almost like a step above senior assistant. it will be a useless position for us if Goody doesn't relent his stubbornness and start listening to other people's opinions.
-
WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON
We won't. We'll get rid of Frosty and then play Tomlinson anywhere but defence.

A Clarkson understudy is well and truly overdue to walk through our doors surely

Clarko’s Coaching Academy
And yet you go and pick an understudy from the Malthouse school of mediocrity. Talk about swing and a miss. You also oversaw and encouraged bringing the game into disrepute for deliberately attempting to lose games. Schwab couldn't hit water if he was on a boat, let alone recognise culture if it bit him on the backside.

Lyon: Save $$ on Tomlinson, Go All ln on Whitfield
Yep and all because he had a sore tummy. Harden the puck up Lachie!
-
Jamie Elliott
We will also be able to guarantee he will avoid the heart-ache of losing another close PF, as we tend to make sure the result is beyond doubt prior to half-time. Plus he'll probably have most of his September's free too (no doubt a big lure).
-
Jamie Elliott
got through the game unscathed. Able to start pre-season right from the get-go ?
