I have seen Jeff White running around the streets up here in Brisbane around the bayside area as he is now playing for Redlands in the QAFL. Next time I drive past I could yell out and see if he'd be keen to go back home? Funny thing is, is that he looks fitter now than he has the last 2 or 3 years at the Dees.

I like the idea of Hisense - in the same sort of situation as LG were 10 or so years ago when we got them on board. Also something similar to Hawthorn in the likes of the Tasmanian Government. Maybe the Northern Territory Government to promote travel to the top end, considering the amount of players we now have on our list from that part of the world?! Who knows? I'd take anyone at this stage!

I just wonder what sort of press and sponsor opportunities we would have recieved had we picked Cousins? We didn't have a sponsor to say "no" to that fact, so wonder what the reasoning was as to why we didn't. I know we are obviously targeting the younger brigade and that he wouldn't fit that mix, but for attracting a million bucks a year.........?

That might be the case, but why would one of our players pose in a photo holding one of their signs. No need for it unless we were to get something out of it? Why wasn't Jamar holding up a sign of any other company that were donating product if that's the case?

Very interesting to see in the members email that came out today - the pic of Mark Jamar holding a Hisense banner in a posed photo? Could this mean something? They have been promoting their brand throughout Melbourne obviously with the naming rights to the old Vodafone arena?! They might just well want to promote themmselves on our jumpers...

Yeah, terrific read. Sounds as though he has a really strong commitment to his people and now to the club. I didn't really like the point of needing another pre season before he gets a game, but with the loyalty that the story says that he has.......we've got plenty of time!

Sorry to start another sponsorship topic, but it seems the other posts have become a personal battle between a couple of members and have seemed to have gone off the topic. The reason I post is because I noticed the banner on the mfc website where it says "mfc proudly sponsored by" was blank for about a week or so. I thought this might have been because they were updating it with our new "hopefully" major sponsor. This morning I noticed it had been refreshed and 13CABS appeared on it along with The Age and Volvo. I was aware of the latter 2, but hadn't heard anything about 13CABS?! Have they become our major sponsor or maybe just upgraded from a previous package? I'm just starting to get a little worried....

Hi guys, Sorry to be annoying, but I'm looking for the original logo that the club had. The one with just the letters "MFC" similar to Carltons current logo. Am getting it tattooed and need a high res version, or preferrably a vector of the logo. Hope someone can help me with this. Thanks
