Its a not so easy to answer question this. Interesting. Im leaning towards Ablett. But theres no obvious choice. Judd in a team of duds is still a very strong competitor and yet no nealry as effective or a game turner as he once was. Ablett is companioned by a stellar support act and he thrives on it. but if I had to pick one....and qualify it as inclusive to our lineup then Ablett. I think hed just bring more to the game and has a gereater and longer upsid.

I concur with this. Its going to be won or lost in the mind and in that first quarter. we are better and more cohesive than when we last met. We , if many will care to remember were the ones that "owned' them that day and started their slide. They really havent got very far off of that floor this year and for that reason I think we can still "own" them even up there, though it will take a bit more belief in their backyard. Going over the last 6 games were 2 wins 3 losses and a draw with a positive 27 points result. they have 6 losses with a negative 291 points scored. They will be desperate to get a win...but just wont be able to. Melbourne by 37points in a gruelling encounter.

It might only be my lay appreciation of the situation but isnt it that the surface shifts. There is grass there but complete sods move. Isn t this the problem ? Heating a green is fine... but the gren isnt dug up and replaced on a rotational system is it ?? Its stays put. I have heard though that one major problem is that the subbase is invariably too cold to promote growth.

When you have kids ESP youngens 4-8 you have your hands full. They are very much up... Or down . You, if sensible attempt routines . Kids need sleep ... Lots. M Nasher pretty well explained it . There's a vast difference between getting kids into bed at 7 v 8 or later. If you have a young family and still attemp a social life you'll want those kids settled before visitors or visiting etc

Maric is good...he could be something..but he needs to work at it and make it his game. Hes still young cop him some slack. Some of us have seen glimpses of brilliance. If we canbring that to a consistent game and alllow him develop his talent to AFL levels...you wont be dissapointed. He creates spac and time. I saw that inanother..a certain Aaron davey against Richmond many years ago. They are differnt and will be but he has something and as he grows so wil his game.

Keep in mind Jumior ought to be a level above most at VFL . He was by all accounts a bit rusty but did play ok.. wasnt in the best ( a little surprising ) but could have been pacing himself. I think the club is playing very cautious with the vets; wise. The Gabba can be hard on the legs so logic would suggest a full games run in AFL on the G in preference coming back which is the following week against the Tigers. Given Junior is so close to his milestone youd be beter off enabling him to ensure he plays out the last 4 games this year ( just in case ) as opposed to coming back prematurely and having to miss by 1 or 2 !!

lets not get too ahead of ourselves.... As DB poignantly offered on OTC..lets maintain the efort and lets win away. Thats his focus. Lets see what we do in Brisbane before getting carried away. As nice in some ways to make this years finals its really 011 and onwards where we stand to be competitive in October. yes..it could all conspire to put us there this year... I just doubt it.
