There's been much speculation of late as to the nature of Melbourne's Game PLan. Both Stealthy and Lethal in nature I can now announce that it can be revealed to all. It may or may not come as a surprise to some but hidden amongst its clandestine nature are some extremely clever components : Component 1 - Secrecy This game-plan is so secret that not even the Coach knows it so its been well guarded by the players as essentially they havent a clue either. Component 2 - Execution Its curucial to its success that the gameplan is carried out to the letter in order to maximise effeciency and efectiveness. I can report that by al reports we've now got it down to a T Component 3 - Confusion Its very important when guarding the secret of the game-plan from your opponents that you dazzle them into confusion. Melbourne has not only managed to confuse its opponents about its gameplan its managed to do so to itself. Thereby a complete success. Component 4 - Effect By all accounts its very effective , that is should anyone actually figure out what it is !! Component 5 - Simplicity aka KISS I can report that we do indeed play like simnpletons for the most part and by such efforts can all but KISS the season goodbye !! Component 6 - Elements. In order to have a successful implementation of the game plan come game-day its terribly important to instill into all players the necesity to follow certain game-plan elements I have special dispensation by 'powers that be' to reveal these. As per (5) it follows the KISS directive: The geting of the football is optional Should however any player accidentally get the ball he may a) choose to handball to another player ( Mfc-optional ) but motionless is imperitve. B) kick it sideways or upwards but only when all other selections exhausted actually kick it forwards. When a player is entering teh zone of an opposition player he must always give way to the right.. When kicking out from a behind the designated kicker much always wait until all opposing players have found an appropriate position in their zones. When advancing with the ball....... dont If however you really really must do it must be ensured no other Melbourne player is either ahead or if such in any position to accept the ball. Component 7 and possibly the most imnportant, BASICS Under no cicumstance will any Melbourne player show, exhibit or even hint at any capacity to perform the most daunting of all football's tasks, the BASICS. This wil result in automatically donning the Substitute jumper the following week. There you have it.... the GAME-PLAN !! there might be other components but no ones actually worked them out , least of all our Football Dept

well i hate to be the one to put a kibosh on this but I think the club can safely kiss goodbye any notion of reaching 40000 this year and getting over 35000 will now be a struggle after last nights pathetic effort. Al those fence sitters will have packed up and gone home now. Cant really blame them

concur 100% but wait...its all ok..., coz "We're going back to Basics !!" Bailey...it wasnt really the lack of skills that burnt us last night it was the total lack of passion and fire form the team ( as a whole ) Only a handful played with any purpose or desire...everyone else just bloody stood and waited...and watched...in most cases watched some Weagle swoop and kick on. Deplorable !! I was prepared to give Bailey some kudos for guiding us through the mire and maze that was draft picks etc...but itsimply turns out hes got no f*&^%ng clue about winning anyways..He's justlucked his way through it all and is now sorely found out as being wanting for any real notion of a game. Mentoring's one thing... Coaching to win is another !!

we're soft....that just about sums it up. And worst of all we're soft in the head dept. No ticker either.. We should officially cease to be called Demons...theres no fire or intimidation about that bunch of imposters. Change the tune from Grand Ol Flag to "Pretenders" while were at it. Quite frankly its just embarrassing

Actually I disagree. Its tempting to think we are inconsequential but the MFC does listen. It will chuck asides vehement ranting...but if/should many take time to write coherently and passionately they will hear us. One thing for sure...dont write and they wont hear !!

DP2015.. good on ya I too will write them ( the club ) today but thought better about doing it til Ive calmed down. Your's is well put. I think the club needs to hear a lot more of this. Stuff the civility and softness towards failure and beleive me we failed big-time last night. It wasnt just that we lost but that we were inept in our efforts and it seemed but for a handful many simply didnt want to be there. The side looked rudderless and flounderiing. Was anyone...ANYONE at the controls ? Didnt seem like it. I dont like the trend I see. I will convery this to the club and urge any and all to do similar. If the club doesnt want to draw a line in the sand...then we need to. Where we are simply isnt acceptable.

Have been more than vociferous al night. Its very easy to be very VERY critical of the efort tonight...and the sad thing is its al ldeserved. I want to see the club ddddDO something about tis. its no good just talking the niceties andmaking 'motions' about dissapointements but actually , how dare I say it, be a bit Kennetish about it and DEMAND something change. The Footbal dept ought to be thoroughly ashamed. Theycouldnt organise a shuffle of deckchairs on the Titanic !!Words fail..., almost where to now ?

No structure...no plan. we have been exposed for exaclty what we are.. a lot of talent but with no idea of how to actually play footy.
