Sh!t happens hey Cam !!! The Karma Faeries bit you fairly on the bum mate !! as so they should. Oh we're a happy team at H........... that is...all but you !! Over rated, over paid, over you, over and out.

Was hoping to rid ourselves of supercillious hair growths and you're advocating another..... egads !!!

Bit of a no brainer this one in all honesty. Mitch was snitched to fulfill a Key forward role. Simple Its quite possible at times depending on th egame that he might bring his very good rucking talents to bear as a relieiving ruckman or simply as he might be first on the scen in the forward line etc. . He facilitates Jamar to rest in the square if thats the want of the FD. Granted Marti could also but Martins not as much a real kepf as Clark. What is does do is give us one hell of a lot of options we didnt have before. Money well spent

Never be ashamed of the number 31 on a Melbourne jumper. That number stands for much more than a certain no-name can ever mean for it. Scully hasnt stained the reputation of either the club nor that number, only himself.

Might just be playing hardball. Time's a running out though. Pressure cooker stuff ( wonderful )

Maric and Juice likely to be those 2. But would think we will still trade Bate...might get convoluted though
-
I know...its beautiful isnt it. Might jsut have more than a chance at landing him too. We can trump Essendon. , that would be satisfying in itself

Street talk is an abberation of the human development. Not only , but its a contextual based novelty designed to showcase those that prove the human genome a very varied thing. Those that are interested in footy have an opinion. Yet to meet one who doesnt. Amazingly you and similar folk all chest beat that you somehow develop an outlook on things footy and as such Melbourne by default of your followiing but all this is done in isolation of everything thats reported around you. Enjoy your denial.

two showbags and Farnham tickets !! its got me perplexed. You here the old rubbish.. we're not trading him , but that offer wasnt good enough .. Pick 39 might as wel be pick 25 this year. ...after about 10-11 its all rather flat going accordingto the likes of Quale etc. . Go figure. having said that..... The trade week blokes have been pretty cagey and accomplished this year...so I'll wait.

I sense he misses the point that teh talent is also off the field, in the likes of Misson and full coaching . that sthis helps influence a candidate . This is al lpart of the package players look at now, not just the money but the FD structure, how they will be supported and mentored/coached etc.

Theres these whispers that the Dees still have irons in fires , that we arent finished shopping this week yet. its down to that last hour juggling act..lol The run home's going to be interesting

I dont think Neeld seems him as a must keep

Billy....where do people get the results from ? Surely its this same said media ( newspapers, printed or online etc ) These same sources of data are straddled within a framework of opinion and 'expert' embellishments. All these things end up as flavouring for the opinions of a great many readers. Discussion amongst footy followers shapes perceptions and a lot of people DO read papers or listen to the radio or wattch telly where there is a constant stream of opinion. This is invariably taken on board in some form if only subliminally.

I hope we take the 39. Could be useful on its own or as part of otherdealings today.

Rpfc..I can see where your comig from in terms of the fruit having been spoilt a littel in terms of influences to date. But I am going to take the view that many are still there to be moulded. Theyre young in the main and with better mentoring and coaching will come good. The younger ones are more likely Id think to take to teh new regime. We al knwo its the old guard that will be resistant. Fotr reasons I cant fathom I actually sense Sylvia might take to Neeld like a duck to water. Col might serve a no nonsense type better. I see differing types emerging.. those that cant change simply because they havent the skilss or ability or nouse to, and those that are just stubborn (read stupid ) Irrespective...they will get to know pine splinters very well.

GC are going to need to continually bolster stocks for a while yet . Next season they come back to the pack in selections. Mijgth very well appeal. The package deal you suggest holds some water.

A lot may depend on any deal between Essendon and GC. expect a flurry of last minute resolutions to deals...as always..lol Might also depend if we look for anythng else out of GC
-
Those that refuse..will not play..it will I sense be quite simple. He'll know these beffore the season proper. Not for a moment suggesting a road without pitfalls but I certainly believe there will be strides taken from here on in. How many bumps ? Pick a anumber Who will be stubborn ? Im feeling Neeld already has his ideas. B)

Seems our CEO would disagree " Club CEO Cameron Schwab revealed the club’s debt demolition program helped build a war chest to help attract top talent – despite losing Tom Scully to a once-in-a-lifetime offer from GWS. “Very proud of the way everyone at Melbourne have worked together to attract some outstanding talent to the club,” Schwab tweeted. “Melbourne spent the last 3 years rebuilding the business model to give ourselves the chance to compete for talent. Now the work starts."

As stated.. a measurement will be attendences, will be memberships, will be the jumpers bought in stores . A less obvious one might be how the AFL programs us in broadcasts etc. Typical of yourself RR to dismiss out of hand anything that counters your stance. The whole advertising industry exists to suade opinions and to encourage purchases. These are based on the perception of the viewer. Given Cosmetics makes AFL look like an amateur hour industry I shouldnt be so dismissive. There is the power of the net itself. Media is far more than the minnows you highlight.
