  1. Normally people say let's agree to disagree. Not in this case. I didn't properly read the article I linked to. i agree I was wrong to conclude from that Spencer Street Socialist article. I'll always admit when i''m wrong. There is no shame in that, it is a sign of intelligence. At what point will you post your own argument from the 600 plus page document you cited? act 2, scene 2 includes my favourite line of Macbeth. You won't see me linking to the whole play to somehow try and validate a point. What is your point of posting a 600 + page article.
  2. Did you read the 673 pages of the alarmist article you linked too?
  3. I'll pay you credit Hardtack because I would be ripping shreads through you if the shoe was on the other foot. I can't get a copy of the original piece written by the CSRIO. I've been caught out for not bothering to properly read the article I linked to.
  4. I just wrote an analogy about fighting unfairly and bought up Chris Lewis biting Todd Viney. Googled it to get my memory juices flowing and he only got 3 weeks. You could get more for. Jumper punch these days.
  5. The reason I am so confident I can tear apart any chapter is because both history and the facts are on my side. Rather than dodge around the issue choose a pertinent point, your favourite chapter or even a paragraph that you think makes sense. Post it and I will agree with it if there is any merit in it.
  6. It's also hilarious I linked to The Age. I despise the Spencer Street Socialist. Unfortunately the CSRIO seem to have removed the prediction from their website. What Government funded scientific body should have to bother with transparency?
  7. August 2003 and the CSRIO was warning by 2020 we may no longer have snow. http://www.theage.com.au/news/general/icons-under-threat-the-alps/2005/11/18/1132016933810.html Does anyone think the snow will vanish in the next 3 years or did our peak scientific body have it wrong? of course the BOM and CSRIO rely heavily on their climate change funding. No problem, no funding.
  8. "If I only had a brain" scare crow, Wizard of Oz.
  9. 673 pages. Do you agree with it all like a sheep? Surely you have the smarts to be objective about some? which chapter do you agree with most strongly and why?
  10. Thanks mate I could read that one. It's 673 pages long and I don't have the time or energy to disect the lot. Which chapter do you think is the strongest argument for man made climate change? I'll happily and easily tell you why it is misleading.
  11. EH the piece is too small for me to read. Perhaps because I am not a subscriber. Are any of the 13 different agencies using the un-adjusted satalite data?
  12. I'm taking that as some kind of riddle we are getting Lever.
  13. It's pretty simple if you are going to cut and paste from the spencer street socialist, at the very least choose an article that is half realistic, so given you are claiming that the science consensus has always preficttef for less rain I will count on you to laugh at everyone who calls the next heavy rain climate change. As for the CSRIO in the 90's they they predicted we would have bbo snow by 2020 Apparently July was 2.63'
  14. I haven't watched it so don't know if you are taking the [censored] or agreeing with me. I've got a wife and a young pre-schooled old girl. 4 is her favourite number because of Jack Watts. No way I could tell her we are watching red October on our shared tv. footy is easy I just say Collingwood will cry if the demons win and she sits on my knee waiting to sing the Melbourne song and watch Collingwood cry. We talk about culture at the footy club . It it runs deeper than that. It is organsisational culture, that us members, are an important part of, that need to collabirately rise as one. the reason I laugh at people who try and claim the missing heat is hiding in the deap ocean is because it is the only place on the planet where heat can't be measured and therefore it can't be proven wrong. It's like me saying we have discovered mermaids in the deap ocean, there are heaps of imaginary hypothesis on mermaids but not one has been spotted. Must be hiding in the deap ocean where we can't sea (intentional) them. it used to be the upper troposphere where the heat was "hiding" but technology has improved since those dud predictions and we can accurately measure the heat there now. Amazingly to some, who had staked their career and credibility on it there was no "hot spot"
  15. Wish the firey's all the best. Hope it is a good season for them. The lack of rain this winter can't have helped, unless the underscrub agrows less I guess.
  16. How many factual articles do we need to post about the data being fiddled to come up with these records? I haven't had to poor cold buckets on my car to melt the ice off the windscreen for decaseds and I've been doing it all July. Must just be the area I'm in that is colder than average. As for the rain. I thought excessive rain was a sign of global warming? You can't have it both ways. What pattern of rain fall would make you see the that climate change is a hoax? Heavy rain, drought, normal (you would have have to define the decade because it changes every decade). And thanks for posting a nice fluff piece from The Age who wont disclose their interest in Earth Hour and have an agenda on the topic.
  17. I like all the talk of him going to Collingwood. He can play in a backline that couldn't get a game at Melbourne. Or He can come to Melbourne that are heading the opposite direction up the ladder to Collingwood.
  18. Kobe Farmer will win a coleman before that happens.
  19. Yeah I''m doubting myself now. When I watched it live I thought it was a full gone conclusion. in context he isn't really sure about anything.
  20. Hopefully petrattack has a time and date stamp for you.
  21. Any other requests your royal highness?
  22. Saw him interviewed on one of the footy shows. They asked if he wanted to play with his brother. He doesn't have much of a poker face. I have no doubt he is coming.
  23. If the Wiz has a kid that can play it will be for Melbourne. I have had a few beers with him one night. He regrets leaving the Dees and I'm sure would push his kid that way. He LOVES the Melbourne Football Club.
  24. It's a shame he played in seperate century's to his old man. My team of the century picture hanging on the wall is a prized possession. He will be in the next. At the moment Whelan and Jetta have the back pockets. Viney in the centre. Neitz at full forward and every other position is up for grabs.
  25. We haven't even seen Oscar go forward yet. Apparently he can actually play there. A much better forward in the under 18's than Tom.
