  1. wright doesn't have injury concerns; he's just an ineffective tall
  2. Brown on fox said north are getting him for five year deal
  3. gw$ have just put a statement that he'll be leaving as a restricted free agent at the end of the season
  4. ratkins from adelaide to gc17 simpson from carltank retired
  5. his workrate tonight against gc17 has been outstanding
  6. was moved on from the pear, and if he was moved on from the hawks then there's serious questions regarding his commitment to being a serious footballer his talent is immense but his workrate is poor
  7. contracted til 2022 when he'll be a ufa
  8. it's a myth that they're difficult to deal with no worse than any other club
  9. that's a big surprise if that's the case he can stay there; no way we'd want to better that if we were to approach him you'd think it'd be a 1+1 with triggers deal
  10. he's looked past it for a bit o'meara as their next skipper?
  11. i think he has never had quite the same approach since he got knocked unconscious in the thriller against the crows
  12. gus needs to learn to contribute more effectively no matter his role
  13. Other than a joke from the moron commentators about him being a tough bloke? Nothing as far as I am aware
  14. He’s a player that could easily slip out of the afl quietly Disposal is erratic, doesn’t run hard enough both ways, a bit of a liability down back and too much of a non-entity as a forward, and clearly doesn’t have the fitness and running capacity to gut run like Langdon on the wing
  15. He had an outstanding game and deserves the nomination (But Scholl is clearly going to get it this week)
  16. Agreed @DeeSpencer I think at some stage he can definitely be part of a midfield rotation
  17. Overs for mine Hawks want to clean out and if we get him he’d likely be on decent coin for three years, possibly with a fourth year option if triggers are met Given that it’d be similar to the Lewis trade the most I’d want to ‘pay’ is a third rounder He’s not a spring chicken, 29 at the start of the 2021 season
  18. no, i heard it that way too - he'd considered it, but he wanted to be at the dees i wouldn't blame if he chose to go to the cats; it'd just me another reason to loathe those player-stealing country bogan of a state and federally-funded football club
  19. pies have brought back treloar and de goey, plus varcoe gc17 have lost ainsworth to illness but harbrow returns we're doomed
  20. if we win a game we need to and the filth do the right thing and lose to both gc17 and the pear and dogs lose to freo next week then that's best result - we're into 7th and playing the aints regardless of whether they beat gw$ or not
  21. i was listening to the abc radio when they were questioning jack first up, brendon goddard really hates the mfc - no idea why, but it's apparent in his commentary secondly, jack clearly didn't want to answer the q, but he was pretty unequivocal in that he wants to be at the dees in 2021 personally, i think the option is there to make the move if he chooses to do so and we deem the compo sufficient or we can negotiate an equitable trade
  22. what that gif doesn't show you is that he was already down ready to kick the goal if spargo had given it to him his workrate is tremendous herald-sun gave him best on fwiw in their match report: https://www.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/gws-v-melbourne-round-17-results-news-analysis-match-report/news-story/016e80db4f7c35af9cee87abf7478393 KOZZIE A RIPPER Melbourne’s forward whippet Kysaiah Pickett played the best game of his fledgling career and provided one of the highlights of the game when he ignited a brilliant team goal from halfback midway through the first term. The 19-year-old rookie absorbed a huge tackle before he sprung to his feet and charged through a pack to collect the ball. He quickly dished out a handpass to Aaron vandenBerg who returned the favour with Pickett in full flight and steaming towards centre-half forward. The pint-sized Dee then handpassed to key forward Sam Weideman, who in turn got the ball to Charlie Spargo who scored on the run. But had Spargo looked up to his left he would have seen Pickett in perfect position to receive the ball to slot it through himself. BEST Melbourne: Pickett, May, Langdon, Petracca, Oliver, Salem GWS: Kelly, Green, Whitfield, Daniels, Mumford, Greene VOTES 3: Pickett (Melb) 2: Kelly (GWS) 1: May (Melb)
