  1. Vince was 28, I thought his best was behind him (from memory he was dropped once in his last year with the Crows) so there wasn't much to get excited about. I was wrong, he's been brilliant for us. Vince was never a spud though. Melksham is. Anyway, we'll finish this discussion when Melksham's career is over shall we?
  2. Yeah, good point. I'm frightened though.
  3. We win our last game, and at Etihad, Hogan wins the rising star. I'm thinking well at least I can be happy with small victories for 6 months. Couple of weeks later I'm slapped with a reminder of how embarrassing this club can be. Just a month of good news would do me. I'm not religious, but I'll convert to all of them and pray this [censored] isn't true. #melkshambles
  4. lol the denial starts. If we get him, is there a chance WADA could ban him for life? Because I'll take the stand.
  5. It's spelt 'Lumumba', have some respect. Nice and easy approach to wait wait for the career to be over before making a call. Why bother arguing in favour of Melksham before we've even got him then?
  6. Not really, everything I said about Lumumba when he was on the cards turned out to be on the mark.
  7. stevethemanjordan, you talk like you know it all, but that's a lot of text with very little actual substance. Comparing Melksham with the likes of Matt Jones, Bail and Terlich is a [censored] poor argument, in fact it just highlights the type of player Melksham is. Better than those 3, wow, what a game changer. Melksham is no good, hasn't been any good in his first 6 years and that won't change. Try aiming a bit higher.
  8. Best trade period ever. Anything else now is a bonus.
  9. Yeah nah. This would be the final straw. I watch Essendon almost every week due to my mates supporting them. And Melksham is a terrible footballer. Wouldn't give him 4 weeks let alone 4 years.
  10. He would've kicked 70 if he played for a top 8 team this year. 44 in a mostly rubbish team with minimal inside 50's and while probably closely managing his body/injury prevention. It's nothing short of incredible. I'm not tearing up, there's just something in my eye.
  11. The mark he took on 3 quarter time shouldn't be possible. Had 2 blokes in the air trying to rip each arm off it, still holds it like a vice. More importantly he pinged the target in the cheer squad when he slotted the goal.
  12. That was excellent, but I still think Viney's was much better.
  13. If there's been a better tackle ever, I don't remember it.
  14. Can you win the rising star if you're already a star?
  15. I'm sick of hearing this [censored] every day on here. MFCSS in the extreme. None of you know the kid, he could be the most loyal bloke going around, but wahhhh he's gunna leave us! Get over it, worrying about [censored] that hasn't happened and may never happen is is a waste of time. Just enjoy having a decent player for [censored] sake.
  16. Salem could end up being better than Wines. It's a no from me.
  17. Pickett Fence's Jizz Booth?

Ahhh the old days, when every [censored] thread became about Satyriconhome... As for Nev, absolute gem. On current form it's easy to forget he missed 6 weeks, and will still go well in the B&F.
  19. The Lloyd bit is near the end of this video. http://www.melbournefc.com.au/video/2015-08-03/sunday-footy-show-jack-viney
  20. "I think he's sort of a marking goal kicker, I don't think he's a ground level creator as some of... you know the Brown's, the Reiwoldt's a lot of the big forwards are. I've got a feeling he's a finisher, most of his disposals have gotta be shots at goal." So yes, he did say that, just in a long winded and uneducated way.
  21. I'm not sure but I'd like to hear it too. Jono Brown stuff, they'll be running it in network promos when he joins their panels after retiring.
  22. Someone showed me this, taken from Big Footy
  23. Alright I'm starting to see it.
