Sure from A fitness point of view, but watching where he is running to or when he has ball in hand (over the last few weeks) has been so unlike himself. But you might be right. tbh if it wasn’t Salem he would have been dropped a few weeks ago.

It’s why Ling was probably the best, he negated the player and got the ball himself. If we had a decent tagger I’d want them playing every week.

I must admit I was sceptical on chasing him as he plays similar to Fritta, but if Fritta and Melk can play well together in the coming weeks it’s prob not a bad option for a Grundy trade, but I’d also be loathe to give port a better ruckman.

Took me a min to figure out what a MIL is…

Salem unfortunately is injured half of every year. But he has been poor this year. His kicking even when not under pressure has been woeful by his standards. I hope he finds his kicking boots the next few weeks cos he is a weapon when fit and firing.

Rivers can be a better version of Salem on his current trajectory. Ie if his skills go to the next level and matches salems because he is a better defender, I’d happily see him play some midfield time. Bowey, McVee, Salem and pig are enough back there.
