I truly hope so. He should be playing more and more midfield. Contracted doesn’t mean much these days. When they want out they usually get their way.

Sure he loves the club etc. But I’m sure he’d love a club that didn’t sit him on the bench for 1/3 of the game and play him in positions that don’t suit him. More game time, more midfield, more $$$ = gone. You watch other clubs will come for him, positive the already would be sounding him out.

Been a lot of negative comments on Goodwins lack of anger/personality/emotion and this shows some of it, I mean he is right the season right now is back on track, is it saying we are playing finals etc, but more it’s back in your hands, what will you do with it. Like anything like this, if we win, it looks great, if we lose then he cops it even more.

People comparing him to Danger is a start, but he has the potential to be better than him. Danger ain’t a good kick, has good speed. And if him and Trac play both inside and out with Viney as a predominately inside mid then we have the makings of the best mid since Brisbane/west coast

Amazing To see what happens when the coach plays a player in their correct position. He ain’t a wingman, half back or half forward, he is a midfielder.

I did some work With a recent opposition analyst for a AFL club, we spoke a lot about players etc and he blatantly told me they put little to no interest in Oliver, at first they started too in his early years, He pretty much said, “yes he gets it out, but he gets it to someone we already have covered and just sweat on them for the turnover.”

The most glaring part is the fact they all see what we see. We don’t change in game. He doesn’t try and change the game.and once the ball gets out of the congestion they know they will kill us.

Nashville losing made me sad. I did a multi with KC chiefs into the blues what seems like 8 years ago so if Nashville don’t win I hope the blues do.
