TBH Macca, not a lot. KC just hit the turbo button on the offensive side of the ball and their D did great. Jones with two batters and a finger tip to help deflect the ball enough and the niners couldn’t run the ball as they needed big yards quickly. sure the D gave u0 a few big plays but to me it was more what KC did than what the niners didn’t.

The thing is, the niners would have been better last year if JG didn’t do his knee. Mahomes is called showtime for a reason, he just finds ways to win. Niners played well but like the Texans and Titans before them, it’s bloody hard to stop KC offensively, you need to score as much as them. Hence last year the Rams and KC played a 54-51 game. They. I think that if KC can get Hill involved you will struggle a bit, they need to use him in screens etc to make Bosa and co hesitate even a second to give PM extra time to find a free player of run the ball himself. KC need to block your run game and the short pass over the middle. Im hoping for a KC win especially for Andy Reid.

@DemonDave I think the packers D 5 will have their hands full with the run but they are also very good. I think Kittle is key for he packers D. Stop him, break even against the run and it’s game on. The rush from the niners will be interesting, will the packers with their decent oline try and protect the pocket or dial up some fast quick screens and slants to make them hesitate. Jones’s running could be key and niners need to hold Adams, those two are key.

Houston was weird, they let Kelce just do what ever he wanted too. That hammy strain he got is interesting, if that goes KC chances drop significantly. Niners love the short pass over the middle. Garropolo was picked once there, and should have been another two times. you guys need to plug that area, make him throw elsewhere. I think your run D is good enough to contain their run. Your biggest concern is stopping their edge rushers. But if you run the ball down their throat early it might back them off.
