Freo are a definite chance against Adelaide, who have really dropped off in the second half of this year, albeit from being absolutely dominant.
A GF at Marvel would be awesome but a prelim against (presumably) Brisbane will be tough.
Should be two great prelims!

Morris said something about a workmate he probably shouldn't have in a workplace.
Should have been handled privately by their employer.
Instead the audio got released by someone with a axe to grind and the media in their wisdom thought it appropriate to release it for public consumption.
Poor Megan got caught in the crossfire and should talk to her lawyers about who thought it appropriate to release the audio.
Saw her on daytime tv today looking like someone who hadn't slept for a few days.
Her employers and the media also have alot to answer for here.“Probably shouldn’t have”
Really??
Agree that it should have been handled privately. If he had been quietly sacked no one would have noticed or cared.

I’ve lost it now but someone on Twitter today posted the expected scores (from Champion data) for the round and we were “expected” to have won by almost 50 points.

- If Oliver and Gawn continue to give up so many frees it will hurt their Brownlow chances as umps will most probably look at them unfavourably when considering the 'fairest' part of the award for voting.
I walked the replay today and have watched a lot of round 1. There seems to be a set of rules in the ruck that solely applies to Gawn and no other ruck.
Joel Smith’s game really stood out on the replay. One of our best

Gee Jayden Stephenson is a liability.
I have actually found the game entertaining but these two teams are bottom 4 for sure. Sullied by the incredibly poor skill level and Hawthorn winning.

Can't understand the love here for Smith. Very limited footballer who rarely gets more than a handful of disposals. Also has no pace. Rather see Hunt off the HBF using his speed like he was doing prior to his injury last season. Was pretty special seeing him & Langdon working together down the same side of the ground.
WTF.
Flat out wrong to say Smith has no pace. He is one of our fastest (behind Hunt) and his closing speed to spoil etc is one of his strengths.
He has many weaknesses but it is ridiculous to say he doesn’t have pace.-

No I’m with you and thought same last year! Very similar style of play, hard as a cats head, robust type. Walked past him locally last year. Built like a brick sheethouse. Kid will be a star in a few years.
Welcome to DL!
Sparrow is a miles better kick though

A little tricky to rate given he came on fresh at 3/4 time which is a huge advantage but Tex Wanganeen looks really talented.
Jamarra on the other hand looks a mess.
Dogs moved the ball crisply in the first half with their big guns in and Naughton looked incredibly hard to stop.
Essendon are handy and well drilled. Looked like 2 finals teams who have had good summers.
Essendon still look like a momentum team. Will be very handy on their day but were often ball watching/plodding in defence. Media pumping up Perkins and Cox post game. Perkins is understandable but Cox is just so meh.
Dogs looking pretty much the same as last year.-

Holding the ball interpretation is a JOKE
Adjudication of the ruck has also been baffling.
Fitzsimon has been very good this quarter

The amount of fumbles is a disgrace. A lot of players hearing footsteps.
Two weeks is a row of rubbish (bar the final qtr last week). And not working hard enough as demonstrated by being out numbered at nearly every contest. They are capable of so much better than this.

Paxman doesn’t watch men’s AFL (or much football at all I think) and it shows. She has never been a very good decision-maker. Elite runner though and decent kick. Will go close to AA again probably but I’d pick Hanks before her every day of the week

It’s a joke that West is in the team with those kicking skills. We are really missing Maddy Gay

Haven’t seen us play this bad for years

Mays opponent lived up to his name, had Naught impact on the game....we won by 74 points; what else was may supposed to do....
It was one of the worst games I have seen him play (fair enough though, he had a torn hammy!)
It shows what a champ he is.

1/. Could have tried Clark Kent in his alternate gear and still wouldn’t have beat our Max
2/ Stevie May says hi.
Uh May was a almost a liability in the GF. Such a competitor that he was able to beat his opponent but there were quite a few moments where the hammy was limiting him. I wouldn’t be using him as an example that it’s ok to play unfit players.

There is no way Collingwood will finish even bottom 4.
I was hoping that we wouldn’t be favourites because a good run with injuries and I think we are good things. I’ll pop a few bucks on anyway. Do it for Daisy!

This post is evidence to me that you are viewing this virus through a political lens.
Unless you post a critique of a hyper-pro vaxxers manipulating situations during this pandemic to suit their politics/agenda.
Then I will unreservedly apologise.
Have you seen the Murdoch press?

He’s not an anti vaxxer and his political views should be irrelevant.
I'm surprised that, as a doctor, you would offer an opinion without having access to his medical records.
Common things are common. Don’t go looking for the zebra. It is drilled into you throughout your training.
I certainly wouldn’t be offering an opinion if I did have access to his medical records.
People are constantly manipulating situations during this pandemic to suit their politics/agenda. Maybe I’m cynical, maybe you are naive.

I'm not prepared to speculate what went wrong, because I don't know.
I am a doctor. I have no specific knowledge of his admission but my medical training says that the booster being the cause of him being admitted to icu in those circumstances very very unlikely (especially in the context of his political views/agenda).

Hope he gets better, I like Dima and he's had a tough time over the last couple of years.
This will encourage those not Vaccinated to remain that way, not good.
“I got sick from the booster. Oh and by the way I just realised I have covid”. Really?! 😒 I really doubt it was the booster alone (most likely just coincidental timing) that put him in ICU.
This has no relevance to your average punter who doesn’t have his medical history/current covid infection and is irresponsible journalism given there is more questions than answers about what has happened to him.

Injuries happen when your list profile is older. The tigers will be competitive next year but not for the premiership, even with a good injury run. I would be surprised if they have lots of injuries again and miss the 8.

Bro, we won the flag. It's a new era. There is no need to take cheap shots at our master coach anymore.
Plus half the guys we thought couldn't kick, now can.
Not sure if sarcastic…
Goody and Taylor love good kicks. Those two players are questionable in that aspect

Was trying to imply that “probably” was not an appropriate word in that sentence. People, especially men, need to do better.
