  1. So after just sitting around in silence it hit me that I could be listening to this game on Tunein. Sounds like they really split it open.
  2. Fantastic morning! This was the first training session I’ve attended since the one after the Rd 2 2013 148 point loss. Very well organised and there’s definitely a good cohesion between the coaches and playing group. Good balance of intensity cardio, basic drills and match simulation, really enjoyed watching. Thought Viney moved well and I think he’s itching to get out there. Clarry trains how he plays. JKH looks fantastic in training! Great to see everyone having a good time. The young ones love Maxy! I liked hearing a lot parents pointing him out to their kids! Plenty of food and beverage available, Infiniti were there spruiking their products. Good event all round!
  3. Missed it! I've been in awe of Greg Stafford's height for the last 5 minutes.
  4. Hopefully they have the Demon Dog with extra spice. Peckish
  5. Yeah gonna head down now. Weather so far so good.
  6. That’s right Febes, it would just be nice if people could put that stuff to the side and remember what he did for our club. It was a terrible spot he was put in. Yep it has to be Barass. Absolutely.

I need to remember to read this thread a lot more. Some very tasty soccer picks there. Quick multi before hitting the hay.
  8. We don't, that is true. Fair enough on Pedersen, I see your point.
  9. What a great game! What happened between the start and finish of it?
  10. Last year there may have been games where he could have played VFL, this year I don’t think so, getting more games into him has been a good thing for him. Interesting the comparison with Pedersen as they are in very different parts of their careers.
  11. Yeah I reckon he’d have had a few guernsies by now. It’s unfortunate but there’s just no place for representative Footy it seems. As relevant a stat as Dermie’s 5 day and 5 night premierships. I’d much rather hear state history than that!

Gee wiz Tex would seriously be going close to fall from grace bonehead of the year.
  13. I really need to hear a show sometime. I’ve heard snippets but haven’t heard how he handles callers.
  14. Noticed Garry Lyon has no votes, that’s fine and understandable. However I think media and obvious history aside he would be right in the mix. Sorry if this steps on toes but as a player the guy was everything that this club epitomises and one of the greatest skippers we ever had. Happy to take heat over this, go for it.
  15. Can’t wait for this new board.
  16. I do think the Coaches award is in the top two awards in terms of clout.
  17. I wanted to use the line ‘Blighty should bite it’ but I kind of agree with him.
  18. How on earth do you top this?

Yeah Mooney was incredible that day. Oh that’s right I just remembered something else, being right behind Davey’s shot from the goalsquare that hit the post.

Neita had bad luck with his jaw. Pretty sure he had it caved in by a Dockers player at the WACA in 97 as well.
  21. Just heard Barlow interviewed then on Maclure’s show. Always had a soft spot for the guy, such a great story and just had relentless work rate. Would love to see him get another go at Carlton or something but it looks unlikely.

I haven't been as sad about a retirement for a long time.
  23. Excellent season from Oscar. Feel like he got a bit better and more confident each week. Crucial piece.

What a dark day that was. Was there with my Cats supporting brother in Level 1 in the Olympic I think and can't really remember much of the game apart from White getting fly kicked by King and having to get up for people continuously walking past. When doing so after the umpteenth time I accidentally knocked the seat in front of me (wasn't a heck of a lot of space with those old red seats) and the guy in front of me told me off. Was a Dees fan too and the game was dead by then. Terrible day in the memory.
