PREGAME: Rd 03 vs Sydney
Seems to be a lot of not so confident people here. I'm not so confident myself but surely there's some hope? We get a shot at this mob on our deck and hopefully we've seen how this team has beaten us in the past and will make the appropriate adjustments this time. If we don't win it won't be the end of the world but what will matter is how we lose.

What they are saying at Moore Park
For me I don't need him to come in and kick 4, I just want him to be physical. Crash the pack, get it to ground and help bring the small forwards into it. Hopefully give his opponent a bit of a run around as well and clear some space for Brown to lead into.

Vice captain
Hold on there Yalbro, you mean there's a New Mexico? We should start grooming our vice vice captain while we're at it.

Ticketing 2023
Yeah most people I know who go can't be bothered talking about the attendance, you just attend and hope others will too.

What they are saying at Moore Park
I'm choosing to think that the absence of Gawn will mean the Swans will get beaten by what they don't know somehow.

PREGAME: Rd 03 vs Sydney
It's very much a case of what got you here won't get you there, but then you forget that it got you here. We bemoaned the lack of fast ball movement last year and while I definitely wanted us to speed up and become a bit more predictable, there was no more assuring feeling I've ever felt in my time supporting this club than going into boa constrictor mode once we got the game on our terms and controlled the pace. The balancing act was always going to be finding when to use each method. I would really hope we don't go too far away from what got us to this point but the slight tweaks and more experience with them in practice will hopefully reap rewards soon.

PODCAST: Selwyn Griffith Interview
What technology and metrics are used to measure a team's ability to run out a game? Are there different methods for different players? For instance is a pressure forward judged on how many repeat sprints they do across the 4 quarters? Are there ways to measure their speed levels over a certain distance? Also, in the footy strength and conditioning world has technology and data taken over as the main way of analysing performance? Or are there still a lot of things that come down to the eye test?
