  1. I ended up reading this after some heat, yes I jumped the gun a bit and apologise. Was trying to be cool.
  2. Win first, everything else later.
  3. Will try and squeeze it in today! Big advocate for Reach.
  4. Heard some of it on Garry and Tim this morning and yes it was a little strange. The bellies are full after going all in and reaching the summit, not a terrible thing and most club's supporters would take it but that would be the most likely explanation.
  5. Wish I had time for all these shows. Only really have time for the DL pod lately.
  6. I haven't watched an MFC game with Ch 7 commentary yet. Thinking of just letting this ride.
  7. Certainly was, just thought he was exactly what we needed for this game.
  8. Depends on the area. Things are a lot more diluted now but you'll get patches here and there with a certain fan group. For instance, I grew up in Kew/Hawthorn and half my primary school were Hawks fans. May be a bit different now but there's still a very big Hawthorn presence in that area. Almost mirror image of my scenario Demonstone. Dad is Collingwood, mum is Hawthorn but really just wants our teams to do well. Apparently when I was about 3 I said I wanted to barrack for Geelong because I loved cats. Dad gave me the business and said I had to barrack for a team 'next door' like mum's or dad's. I was friends with a Melb fan in Kinder and the rest is history. Be careful what you wish for dad.
  9. It's almost like if you get through the first few weeks of the season without any big indiscretions, the new agenda eases up and you can get away with more. It's silly.
  10. This is probably the first episode of this where I've agreed with everything said.

WCW it's time to make your talents profitable and release a Banner making course on Masterclass. You'll make a fortune!
  12. Chocco the great! Next statue to go up.
  13. There's different ways to watch the game just like there's different ways to use DL. There's days when I post 20 times in the Gameday thread, days when I might only do a couple with maybe a half time post, days when I'm not on it at all. The beauty is choice and your personal enjoyment. Life is full of entrees so don't fill up on bread.
  14. This thread didn't get bumped quickly enough, for shame.
  15. Well it's as central as we're gonna get. For what we want anyway.
  16. Very well spoken, stands out above many players with his public speaking.
  17. The G looks a bit harder, probably still recovering from the Sheeran gig, hopefully some others in the know can help out. Very rarely a need for long stops anymore it seems.
  18. Didn't read it to be honest, just the headline jargon about meeting with family during Gather Round to discuss his future. Click bait much.
  19. I think the article is bulldust, from all accounts his family wants him to stay.
  20. I find threads like these irritating. I feel like they just give people who don't go in the gameday thread a chance to say how good they are for not doing it and to say how stupid/negative all of us who do post in there are. I go in the gameday thread pretty regularly and comment mainly on passages of play that I thought were good, every now and then a little over the top. Let it go.
  21. I post in there often and have never posted anything stupid.
  22. Anything goes in the gameday thread. It's like a mosh pit at a rock concert, you might get shoved over but you don't hold it against the shover. The gameday thread shouldn't be taken too seriously.
  23. And a bloody good one too.

I think I may have claimed a member ticket at the time, will have to check. I'm not going so if this is the case I will advertise here.
