That's what the game is all about!

Harrison Petty
Interesting observations and I did notice this when watching again. I would like to see him influence contest a bit more without the ball though.

He's really just a jumper on-er

I do like hearing Darcy Moore speak, you just have to put everything else aside when he does.

Draw game. Great footy, and like the very first Anzac day game we have a draw. Great effort from both sides

NON-MFC: Round 07
They really do look out of their depth sometimes Essendon. Like they shouldn't be on the big stage. It's very obvious who the professionals are

NON-MFC: Round 07
Been a good game but I expect Collingwood to pull away. The Bombers still look lacklustre at the in close inside stuff.

PODCAST: Rd 07 vs Richmond
Echoing buck_nekkid and many others about Petty. In the last 3 games he's had 10 marks and 1 goal. In the last two games he's had 0 and 2 possessions up to half time. Is it really just the interrupted pre season that is affecting him? It seemed like the Richmond defenders were getting a lot of marks in our 50 and we really struggled to get the ball to ground, interested to hear your thoughts.

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs Geelong
Well said but with respect if he's fit then he's gotta offer more. I don't agree with others that he competed well last night, he was outmarked by his direct opponent often and couldn't get the ball to ground, yes the delivery was horrible but he needs to impact the contest. He'd had a rough or barely any pre season I get it and I know there aren't other options however if there were, the reality is that he loses his forward spot based on these performances. I wouldn't drop him, absolutely not. However if he isn't going down back then he needs to find a away into these games other than a marks and goals forward. You can bet Chris Scott will be looking to exploit this area next week. Will continue to back him, we need him to be on next week.
