How often do you hear the Fitzroy Football Club mentioned?? Joe was far from perfect, but at least he had the balls to stand up. The pro mergers had rolled over & were waiting. Joe stood up & did.

But that happens on any level. People have agendas. Demonland is no different. It doesn't take long to see a particular slant. The same people could also raise agendas at the AGM. Demonland does give a fairly wide choice of view.

My 2011 scarf is Maroon. 2012 is definately red. They are both hanging now on the same hook at home. 2012 looks cool.

But the "Magner" thread is quite balanced RR as long as you read it all. It actually makes Gotzy look like a bit of a goose so i have no problem with forums being used as a reference...as long as they are used as just that. A good journalist reports the news of others, not his own opinions which i think Hanlon has done here pretty well.

35,500 members are signed in 2012. As long as the club continues to improve each year. No excuses accepted for failure. We will survive. i think a supporter website is a great place to air news. It is what the supporters and members think. Be it right or wrong. Being Anonymous gives it more cred as people say what they really think without fear. 21st century communication. I am glad we get read. At least it is well known we care for this old and great club.

Cale Morton has been improving this year. Unfortunately the clanger on the MCC side of the ground undid most of that good work. Can we depend on Cale Morton going forward? If he did the same in September would you be still waiting for his talents to shine through?? Big Decisions from the coach on CM's place in the side. Clangers like that kill the team. You cannot hide from that.

It doesn't matter what the reaction was....it is just that incident prior should never have happened.;People are tip toeing around this like Cale is a first year Rookie. He is not & far from it Bottom Line is he is a liability when he has the ball, & only one person can fix that up Otherwise his AFL days are over, just like the rest of his family. If the Demons had kicked 1 more goal during that run on....it was on, under 20 points....12 point turnaround..... He is lucky he only got a spray.

Maybe the supporters have had enough of pathetic turn overs that happened right in front of where i was sitting. He had options. It completely blew the momentum we had clawed back. Sorry i cannot excuse it as others on here can.

Cales mistakes today were elementary stuff and at critical times. I will be suprised if he is playing for the MFC next year. His turn overs happen too often. Good players just don't do it.
