Just watched "Offsiders" from this morning. Gerard Whately had Caro on toast..she talked over him as usual. Take it all the way Demons. Regardless of what others think clear your name of these lame excuses, and that is what they are. Future Sponsorships & future player signings all hinge on this. Nobody wants to be associated with a club that admitted Match Fixing. If any of these charges do stick then 5-6 other clubs can stand outside and wait their turn.

pretty much agree with that 100%As long as this whole sham is finished off in court, otherwise it will hang over us. That is of course if a no penalty handshake is agreed this week, but that is a dream i fear.

i agree Red, but the AFL won't back down. If they do it is a miracle. So i have always believed it will end in court.

i view this as a very serious charge. If i was a prospective sponsor with cash to use and not an MFC supporter i would not come near this club if that charge sticks.

It was like an acid trip, it started slow...it then had a massive peak...but the come down was very harsh. Never forget that night. Love ND & i hope he is invited to Demon functions over time. But his coaching reign should have ended after that game. We were so bad & so good in 2 hours. Such talent that wasn't focused.

Yes exactly, but many supporters on here are already celebrating with cheap champagne at the reports already published. IF they are even semi correct the MFC will never climb the ladder to contend with the top sides. To attract sponsors we must clear all this.

Look if you don't see the Head Coach being sanctioned for Match Fixing as a major possible problem with our Gaming Licences then fine...carry on. But i do & i expect my club to take the issue further if in fact the report is correct. The Red & Blue Tank on the front page of the sport section is a great look for our corporate image.

the Head Coach banned from the game for a period of time speaks volumes to me, no matter what wrapping paper is used.

i realize we have many Beaks. That is why i want them to finish this sham altogether. I have no interest in the MFC just surviving. We have to get bigger to climb the ladder. These charges will retard us i have no doubt, if they are fact of course.

i am saying the club goes higher to clear the grey areas which could very easily bite us badly. The AFL are not in charge of everything. As long as Bailey is implicated we are under the hammer.

you are delusional if you believe what you have written. IF this report is correct $500,000 Fine & the Head Coach of the day implicated we are still in deep trouble and our licences are at risk. Any celebrating now would be most dangerous.

of course i would hope so, but with a $500,000 fine and the senior coach stood down that hasn't happened has it. At this point we are guilty of Match Fixing. This must go higher. We should not accept it.

if last nights report is correct it has to be taken as a guilty verdict. You do not get fine $500,000 for nothing.
