Even if it is a misdirection the player is still guilty because he knew what he was taking. If he was misdirected by a doctor it would be better than by a non medico. If he was misdirected the player may have grounds to have a penalty reduced but unlikely to be exonerated - at least this was my understand from this morning's discussion. -
then that would be a breach of faith and contract

tap tap "sure can"

DT, you're preaching to the choir. We all know JW is soft. If he can't change his ways he's gorn. If he hasn't got one already, he needs a personal mentor who can get into his head.

A spokesman (I think he was from ASADA) on 3AW this morning and confirmed by doc larkin said that ASADA don't give written approvals for any supplements if asked. He said it was up to the player to get the medicos to read the WADA/ASADA code and advise accordingly. He also said the ruling that supplements not cleared as fit for human use were made "WADA not approved" by a 2011 ruling so AOD clearly falls into that category since 2011. Also said the conditions where players could claim exemption were only where the player had no idea what they were being administered and the only previous case where this was accepted was when an ahtlete was unconscious when administered. It appears some Essendon players signed a "waiver" which named AOD, clearly placing the onus on the player. So any player taking AOD where he knew so, would face sanctions which start at 2 years and can be mitigated down depending on circumstances but not fully. -
what's your postcode and or exchange and I'll look it up for you

The only source you have come up with is media speculation from the likes of Brian Taylor. Cough up rhino, admit you are speculating or shut up.
-
that sounds more like business as usual suggesting he is there to do a review of the club for the AFL is a different matter all together
-
yes speculation, but tell rhino that but also notice I said "sanctioned by the board" any suggestion he is a fifth columnist with a separate brief with the afl from his mfc brief is not supported by any statements from the club or afl. in fact vlad has denied it. if the mfc is unaware of any of his roles then this is a serious matter and as a member i think we have a right to know, at least at a macro level
-
spreading your fantasies again rhino? vlad is on record as saying he reports to mfc and not to the afl if he is professional he will understand his loyalty is to the mfc as his employer any reporting he does to the afl should just be restricted to the normal club ceo - afl interfaces/meetings and sanctioned by the mfc board anything beyond that would be a breach of contract your suggestion he has a "brief" from the afl as well as a "brief" from the mfc is potentially libellous
-
I must be a bit thick but i fail to see how an interim CEO who is only around for 6 months can do the regular job of a CEO in difficult times, find the time to understand how the club works, be ruthless and then disappear. I think you expect too much. No doubt he will form opinions and advise the board but I can't see he has the opportunity for reform given the circumstances of his limited tenure.

not necessarily lost. Apparently in the custody of Danks, for what ever value that is one would presume that asada would/should have a copy on file too? time will tell (or not) -
Can you get adsl2+ where you are?

-
its a combination of things dee-luded firstly, telstra use a crappy codec setup and secondly, your graphics processor on your pc may not be up to it. Thirdly, line speed is also a factor. I too have more problems with telstra originated video than any other video source on the web
-
absolutely obviously none of these journos scribblers were around in norm smith's time (or barassi for that matter)
-
given sheahan was chief football writer for the hun and kero for the arch enemy, i wonder if sheahan has some sour grapes with the hun?

the trick is to say the right incantation as it is being applied (at the right planet alignment of course) -
or even gablett snr? richo in his prime was no slouch either - and another taswegian
-
no need to be disingenuous rhino you are the one making the claim that jackson was appointed by the afl to make a review of the club for the afl a claim rejected publicly by vlad but keep on deluding yourself P.S. don't bother responding
