interesting that our current home guernsey AND our main away guernsey are BOTH historically HOME guernseys. a pretty good result when all said and done

plus the similar end of season fade-out in 2016- 2015 the hottest year on record
in all fairness maurie, it should be pointed out that many of the 'captains of industry' are not taking their new-found climate stances purely because they are 'true agw believers' or out of a sense of altruism (unless you believe in the tooth fairy) i know someone very well who works for a very large financial corporation whose job is 100% interfacing with all the agw lobby groups and government bodies. At the end of the day many of these 'captains' are steering their ships in the direction of least resistance with maximum revenue and profit always very much in mind i would be reluctant to use major businesses as examples of the validity of agw, when they have so many other well known agendas just saying....- 2015 the hottest year on record
just to give a more complete picture of co2/temperature ranges across the ages note cambrian period with 7000ppm co2 and a average global temperature of a 22C note all the other times where the average global temperature has been around 22C (quite a lot of the time actually) and look at the corresponding co2 levels. there doesn't seem to be a very close correlation- The No T$ No B$ Thread

agree with the stop start. but they do fill the stadiums. which is not surprising for cities the size of melbourne with only 1 team and 8 home games. most fans i met try to get to 1 game a season and they make a big day of it, otherwise the sports bars do well- 2018 Membership Thread
in a previous life i used to go to minnesotta a lot. nobody (but the rich) bought season tickets for the vikings. it was just too expensive yet there was only 8 home games a season. people used to form groups to buy season tickets and company social clubs would buy slabs of season tickets then onsell to members for individual games based on methods like lucky draws etc. every game had scalpers.- 2018 Membership Thread
i have friends who are colliwobble and bummer members. They pay much more for membership then they have a lot of games they have to book online and pay even more for entry. Makes foxtel look a cheap option. At least us demon members can just generally rock up or pay a relatively small amount for a reserved seat at the start of the season.- 2018 Membership Thread
when every club gets to at least 70k members it would make you wonder if it's worth buying a membership - 2018 Membership Thread
