  1. In: Neville Jetta Out: Tom Stewart
  2. Ablett. Selwood. Hawkins. Scott. Very poor leaders when things get hot.
  3. I had that same moment with my son ?. So happy.
  4. There’s about to be a whole lot more Geelong fans in the city. The train from Geelong is about to arrive and it’s packed. Very few MFC supporters here.
  5. Almost time for my early exit. It's been a very unproductive afternoon. Heading in from Geelong on the train with my 16 year old son. Been waiting for this moment for 12 long years. Hopefully the players are feeling much calmer than I am. Go Dees!!!
  6. I like the sound of this prediction by Bob Murphy.... https://www.sen.com.au/news/2018/09/06/murphy-my-gut-feeling-melbourne-will-absolutely-smash-geelong/
  7. I agree with the bit I've underlined and really think he will have a great career, but right now, he also doesn't stick all his tackles, drops some easy marks and struggles to kick set shots. All those things concern me going into Friday night, especially the missed tackles. If we did need to drop someone else, I'd prefer to keep JKH in over Spargo right now.
  8. Why not Freo? Not every footballer considers potential on-field success to be the one and only consideration when making their career choices. Money, home, relationships also come into it, and for some would be more important than who the coach is and where the team is likely to finish.

Yep. He needs to channel some of Melksham's mindset. Be the man.

I've got mine too. They really should re-invest some of that "hard earned" handling fee back into better servers and website design. Good luck all

I'm assuming this it what it feels like to be an Adele fan....
  12. From a non-emotional perspective, any in contract player is generally at the highest value to their current club. Out of contract, the club loses some control then FA is all control to the player and destination club. IF Hogan requests a trade, I don’t think he is of the value that it benefits us to refuse.
  13. It’s been noticeable for a few weeks. Not sure if it’s league wide, but it’s definitely been causing some of our players to panic a bit just before kicking it and getting right underneath it. I hope it gets looked at internally with our players to make sure they know where the mark is and I hope the umps are all over policing the mark strongly.

From afar, I get the feeling he still doesn’t know how good he is. That is the hurdle that he needs to get over and we will see the best of him. Has the talent and exhubrance to be an star.
  15. I’d be happy with Fyfe minus top knot but I do t think that will happen. Young Brayshaw plus their first pick would be close. Maybe Kent to them also (hopefully his luck changes there, poor bugger).
  16. Dr Turf and KB brought Hogan up again today. Says the rumours just won’t go away. Some rumours say he is gone. Apart from early picks, what else can Freo offer?

I was thinking the same thing. It was the game he played with the glove that I really noticed he was at a new level. Strange coincidence.

I could see that was high from the top deck at the other end of the ground. How can the 3 umps miss it.

What are the broadcasters saying about Kent?
  20. Darling played for the push in the back. This is what happens when the AFL takes too long stopping people playing for frees.
  21. Good chance one of these 15 pages mention it, but what was the scuffle at the end about. Nev looked seriously upset.
  22. Darling played for the push in the back free kick by basically flopping forward but OMac twisted him in the tackle. It would be an absolute travesty if anything happened at all. So he'll probably get several weeks.
  23. No way am I going to write off a 18 or 19 year old kid.
  24. Am I the only one that thought JKH was pretty good today? Retains his spot easily I would have thought. We should have rested Hogan against Gold Coast. I hope we don’t end up regretting it...
