as much as i commend the leadership group on their action, and the professionalness the club is showing, i wonder if this game was a game we needed to win to get to finals would he be suspended????? :angry:

this is a tough one, i like the concept of just being Melbourne FC and it worked for north to have melbourne in their name with the whole gold coast issue, so it may be useful for us too? but when i'm at or watching the game i still shout GO Dees! so i dont know, and i like the logo. but i think melbournefc is the way to go, and i'll probably still shout GO DEES! just to confuse myself!!!

all i asked was an opinion, i love the guy, if people read my responses properly instead of jumping down my throat they would see that. i just want the guy to become this star we all want him to be, i know he's slow, i just think he seems slower and on some occasions disinterested, as i said, it must be hard in that team at the minute to be motivated, as seen against the saints. pardon me for posting and having an opinion!!! jeez u can quote all the stats u want, most of those supposed possesions are either sideways or backwards, i think he is quality and COULD be a real star, in a team that needs one. what annoys me is that he could become another Travis Johnstone, all the skills and guile but not consistant enough. i know it must be hard to get up and play in a team that is so lacking motivation, i just think its time for him to step up and set an example. ps lay off the stats guys, dont mean [censored] if they are inneffective!!

i want to know peoples opinion on mr mclean. i was watching him in the queens birthday clash against the scum and to me he seems fat and slow, players were passing him with ease, also his attitude is poor; looks like he doesn't give a [censored], for a man that has be lauded by others and himself as a future captain i think he'll be lucky to get a game if he doesn't improve. people will argue about his injuries but if you're injured dont play! what do u think???? ta

hello all, this is not really a topic as such, but i'm looking for assistance. i'm from ireland and have been a proud demons fan for over 5 years now. my other half is from melbourne and her whole family are demons crazy. my girlfriends grandfather (RIP) played for melbourne in the 30s, his name was Eric "Tarzan' Glass #16, every past player and older fan i've spoke to speak of him fondly as being a tough bugger who could change a game with his aggression and skill, he left melbourne the year before the won all those premierships in a row and went to williamstown and made their team of the century. he was best mates with norm smith and alan la fontaine. anyway i could go on for hours. i'm wondering if anybody on this site knows where i could get a replica shirt made from the 30's?? is ther a company that remakes them etc?? its for my future father in law, who is a top bloke and i wanted to get him one framed etc. ta in advance. paul ps if u want to see a pic of tarzan, look in ron barassi's new book, there is a team photo of the thirties team, hes the mean looking bugger in the middle.
