  1. Probably Perth Jaded. Sorry. Couldn't resist 😉
  2. Eden Zanker. Third quarter I think.
  3. 6. Hanks 5. Zanks 4. Heath 3. Hore 2. Bannon 1. McNamara Apologies to half the team. That third quarter was shades of a grand final we all enjoyed a couple of years ago
  4. 9 votes to Purcell ? She was good but.......
  5. More than happy to
  6. I can remember those games. Struggling to remember what I did yesterday though 😁
  7. He also took Nick Haynes to the cleaners when Haynes was at the height of his powers. Twice in a season. Some folks should watch closer.
  8. Reckon you should appoint a temp @joeboy. Hand over the keys for a week. As long as it's not me 😁
  9. I am a cynical old git but that segment had me tearing up. A reminder that we should all gather up those we love and give thanks for what we've got. RIP Charlie you little Demon champion
  10. You should have been here a few years ago mate. We were looking to the draft in March !
  11. He's been injured or ordinary the last two years. While trying to carry Norf's defence on his back. Prior to that he looked really promising, particularly in tandem with Robbie Tarrant. I've found myself wondering how he'd slot in as May's apprentice and heir apparent. It would also free up Petty to stay at CHF. It's well worth investigating. The whisper is that he's off to Essendon. Surely working with Lever and May at a club in premiership contention would be more appealing from McKay's perspective. Cutting the Druggies grass is an extra benefit in my view 😉
  12. Probably a virus Jaded. Poor Cats
  13. Not sure about his marking. He copped a couple of significant hand injuries. That said his recuperative powers are legendary 🙌
  14. It has been since he was running around at Casey in his first year. That ability to mark with arms fully extended stamped him as one to watch pretty much since day one.
  15. Hoyne was really interesting. He also reeled off some impressive stats regarding Thomo and one on one contests. With regard to May I suspect it will all come down to match ups as to how far up the ground he plays. He's more versatile than Thomo as a defender and the FD will look at who they want him to play on rather than where.
  16. Agree with your thoughts on Petty and would like to see him back at CHF perhaps after a week at Casey to road test his body. Down the track we may well have to deal with the likes of Allir Allir and Darcy Moore if we are to progress. They are keys to their team's defences and might need to be nullified. BBB can't do that. Additionally we might face Brisbane again. They're not likely to fall for the Melksham v Harris Andrews trick again so Petty is our best bet at CHF in my view. Both offensively and defensively.
  17. He's certainly passing the audition so far
  18. Usually the first thread I look for post match.
  19. Whale oil beef hooked No idea how we won that
  20. With our insistence on flooding our own forward line coupled with Ross the Boss and his plan of flooding opposition defences, this is gonna look more like a mosh pit than a footy game. Not expecting this match to be one for the ages
  21. Nick Sautner was the incumbent full forward at Sandringham in those days. Good player but a development road block from a Melbourne perspective. That said, I don't think Juice did himself that many favours either.
  22. Viney himself was tagged that night as referenced in Ollie Wine's post match interview
  23. Thanks @layzie but I'm only good for one long post every 5 - 10 years
