I, like Jaded, have a sinking feeling that the glamour of Naitanui is weighing upon the MFC. Clearly, Watts is the best player. It would be nothing short of a mistake to not take the best player available. But this club doesn't always do things rightly. So I wouldn't be surprised if we took Naitanui tomorrow in the hope that he adds something off-field to the club.

Who says Watts is clearly the best player??? I and 99% of people on this forum have not been watching these guys closely over the last 2 years. I trust the MFC to make the right call. I for one wont be having a sook if we pick up NikNat

at best 2 years of service , will be good for bums on seats in Brisbane that's about all

Hawthorn currently use the Family club have for years and it has paid off

the people's club could see us try and pick up all those "non football" people

eg - INternational peoples day - have a day where you show your international passport and get free entry

- Police/fire/Ambulance day - were workers and there families get free entry

even if we pick up a handful of supporters things like this are worth a try, at the worst we will have a bigger crowd on the day meaning more revenue for the MCG/MFC

More stuff for the kids like :

- Having a kick on the G like after the Freo game

- Going into the rooms before the game, I remember as a kid you could walk into the rooms before the game up until about 1/2 hour before kick off and watch the players get rubbed down have a kick around etc. For a kid to see giants like Jimmy , Lyon etc walking around so close was something i will always remember and made me a demon for life.
