Yeah that ear piece thing was baffling. From my interpretation he awarded north a free late, a north player kicked a point before the late whistle, the essendon players argued that north took the advantage so the point should stand instead of a free kick 10m out from goal, so the ump said I'll just ball it up

Fair enough didn't feel like it live watching on tv. Surely the umpire gave a warning as they usually do a few seconds before calling play on?

Also not sure what the hell happened when the ump called a few kick to north then changed it to a ball up after hearing something in the ear piece .wtf never seen that happen

Petty I'd assume, he's actually not a zero in there. Langford into the middle, Windsor to the wing. Petty/disco/tmac to pinch hit in the ruck when needed. Jvr hasn't kicked goals this year and 5 against a local footy standard vfl Richmond team is a good start but not sure who else you suggest to come in and kick goals. Turner and melk are an improvement to Fullerton. I am often critical of our selections but this week they make sense to me.

Problem is majority of our forward entries and slow movement from back to half forward means we go long and high which is just getting picked off. If we somehow manage to start leading and keep the ball movement quick and low it might work
