Interesting little point in the article stating that JT is still unable to do full training. -

Different issue BB.Most would agree his Manager should get him to accept the better offer, especially when we are apparently encouraging the move. Most are talking about it from our cultural point of view or the price. I also would like to see a slightly better deal for us if possible. -
47 on a quiet news day.

The mail seems a bit stronger that Saints will keep 1 and take McCartin. Unless we have a major deal lined up Petracca and Brayshaw would be there for the taking. If they are as good as hyped, we add 2 potential stars to our midfield. -

Stop talking sense, it is often not accepted on here.I like Jack and also would be very sad if he goes, but I can't disagree with anything you have said if viewed dispassionately. We all thought our club was crap. We brought in Roos and PJ to fix it. We all trust them. They are charged with making our list a finals list. Many on here are happy for the words but not the actions if a favourite player is involved. It is simple really, let them do the job or sack them and get someone who will keep our favourite players. I look at it this way. Roos must have a fair idea of what Trenners is capable of and his fitness status. How do we know he didn't say to JT this is your last year with us for whatever reason, but I can get you a longer contract for more money and at a finals side, where you can play without the number 2 pick baggage and JT said fine. I have endured 50 years of waiting without a flag and don't have another 50 left, so I have faith in Roos to get the job done. I can see some more blokes going as well by the way. If we get to the finals and become a good club again, that will be the result of many hard decisions, upsetting some or many along the way. Finally I am not thrilled with JT and 23 for 12 but maybe a sweetener can be added. Buckle up, next week could be a bumpy ride. -

Well maybe Crows would throw in Lyons and a later pick back to get Frost. Jack goes home and we have 10, Lyons and Frost. It actually makes me sad. But I understand footy is not sentimental anymore. -

If true that means we are giving up 23 and Trenners for Lever. If Lever is gone by 12 what then, we give up 23 and Trenners for some other young kid.Seems a hell of a lot to lose for a kid at 12. -
Nothing and no.

I thought he said his dad wanted the brothers playing at the same club.

Am away for a short country break. Just had a nap. Must have still been half asleep when I posted. What I was trying to explain was that Garlett was going to be delisted and would have been obtained with a last pick by us or whoever. We gave an early 4th round pick and Carlton are trying to get Jaksch and Whiley for only a 12 place downgrade. Not even a pick but a downgrade of 12 places for 2 players who are not being delisted otherwise. I am ok with the Garlett deal but amazed at the proposed Carlton one. -

Blues trying to get Jaksch , Whiley and 19 from GWS for 7. Great for the Blues if it comes off. Maybe I don't understand but why did we give up a full 4th round pick and a downgrade to get Garlett who was unwanted, when Blues only give a 12 place downgrade for 2 players. I think we are soft in the negotiating department. If MC was at Collingwood or Essendon they would want half of Cats' list for him and we look like getting only Lumumba. Prove me wrong Dees, get what we need for Frost, as some extra in the MC deal. -
But hopefully the best two dimes.

You are saying we give up 3 and 23 and get 21 back and Jaksch and either Shiel or Coniglio.Where do I sign. Don,t let the GWS List Manager out of the room until I get there. Tell him I am on my way. -
Not for me, started my latest diet.

Trying to appease Eddie and Newbold.

Just what I was thinking.Dogs also get the early pick to take one of McCartin or Wright. We could seriously land Petracca and Brayshaw. If we do I hope they are the Hodge and Judd of this year's draft.
