  1. Fantastically balanced footballer.
  2. My early prediction for Umpires’ Pet of the year, is Bailey Smith. 4 blatant holding the balls called play on and he gets touched and soft free.
  3. Oskar Baker gets Dogs first goal. Played a very good first quarter and is Bevo’s standout pre season performer.
  4. Yes sorry my mistake.
  5. You would never have played for Sheedy then.
  6. If K Bradtke is a notable absentee for the Tigers, I would have thought Premiership player Rivers is one for the Dees.

There is some synergy with that thought. Each second week the Bombers can fly over from Tasmania.

    A wonderful vision.

Is that still reeling or feeling?
  10. Yes very surprised that JJ is not playing especially when Laurie and Woey are. I don’t mind giving young guys a go just very surprised JJ isn’t playing.

How lucky we are to have Dermie explain everything about AFL footy to us.

    Sounds more like a nightmare.

That is an unfamiliar concept to me.

That conjures up a horrible vision. But to answer your question, yes.

You are referencing footy and in a negative manner, in an essentially multi topic thread.

You are in a very large group then.

    No, it’s a thin kaftan.

    That's why it is special.

And there is a good, strong, straight to the point post BBO. We need more of that. Pat yourself on the bum.
  20. The former is known fact and the latter also appears known fact, given Richardson’s comment that negotiations with Kozzie’s manager are progressing well.
  21. Not sure if you are referring to me in the “lumping together comment “ but my post is more to deal with the discussions with Managers, or lack thereof, probably indicating different outcomes.

Would be pretty confident JVR plays this week and JJ probably a certainty with JV out.
  23. Put simply, LJ’s manager was never negotiating with us to stay and apparently Kozzie’s is. That is a big difference and probably what leads to some confidence from the club he will stay. 🤞
  24. Two much's is definitely more encouraging than one.
  25. Bartel hit his head on the ground as he stumbled. The Geelong midfielder was carried from the ground on a stretcher, suffering concussion. Melbourne did not accept the preliminary finding and took the case to the tribunal, contesting the medium-impact and high-contact charges. The tribunal upheld the suspension. The club had until midday today to launch an appeal, but did not. Melbourne did, however, indicate it was not satisfied with Moloney's suspension. "Melbourne will be seeking further clarity of the rule surrounding the charge of rough conduct," a statement from Demons media manager Leigh Newton said. Demons coach Neale Daniher voiced his disappointment with the tribunal's decision before his club's training session at the MCG this morning. "They (the tribunal) termed it medium-contact (to Bartel) ... the evidence we put showed there was no contact to the head at all. It was just a slight brush to the shoulder," Daniher said. "It's on public record that we thought that James (Bartel) sustained his injury when he hit his head on the ground, so from that point of view we were disappointed that the tribunal didn't see it our way."
