I reckon I’ve played Rusty Cage and Jesus Christ Pose every morning this month.
That album has aged very well, classic!

Well, quite. Outshined too. This could get quite lively.
who knew there was such an SG contingent here!did you see them? I was lucky enough to see them at GC Big Day Out in 2012. I’ll never forget it. We’d just moved to the northern rivers from Melb, and when SG came on, a summer storm rolled in with lightning and thunder as Searching started
Kanye was an anti climax after that.
just lightning, rain and SG. Epic.
I actually saw their 2nd last gig before they split first time at Horden Pavilion in Sydney around 96-97.
Also saw Audioslave at same venue! I lived in USA when Superunkown was released and loved it. Badmotorfinger had been on high rotation on cassette in my car for 2 years prior!

Incredible album but nom de plume is the best, for mine. Having said that, DOTU is cracking. Tighter and Tighter a portent of things to come.

My favourite part of this game is Soundgarden in the ad breaks. Ch 7 or their OB/prod has a SG fan - they’ve run a few SG songs last few weeks including Outshined, Drown Me at least.
a huge loss. Last gig. 🥺
Still saddens me he's gone.
I can't get any lower, still I feel I'm sinking. Haunting lyrics now.

This is really ordinary footy, hard to believe it's semi final.

I thought he was pretty serviceable when playing with us, especially since he was played as an outside mid and he considered himself an inside mid, hence the move.
I am a bit surprised he didn't get to play more games than he did for North.
I wonder what went wrong? He was injured nearly the whole time he was there unfortunately (chronic ankle from memory) however the few games he played he didn’t do all that well sadly for him.

How did The Bont goal from the pocket in Perth not get a guernsey??
Not nominated yet better than most if not all of them.

If we do win (and I emphasize that I am using the conditional 'if'), I personally wouldn't mind Paul Roos handing over the cup. He is the most likely to be given permission to get into WA, and it would provide a brilliant sense of closure on the journey that was begun in late 2013.
Some might shout me down for that, but I think it would be great to recognize the modern day odyssey we have been on since PJ (who clearly doesn't qualify to do this) walked into the club two days after 148.
Garry Lyon is in WA for media.
Would not at all be surprised if he gets the gig IF we can pull it off!

Many outstanding performances last night and I know a few have mentioned his name but I don’t think he’s getting the recognition he deserves.
He was pivotal, 27 disposals at 78% efficiency, 6 marks 5 tackles, 6 inside 50s. He looks composed with footy in hand now.
Great game from Nibbler

Love to see a poll of who posters who prefer to play against.
Can’t believe I’m saying this Clint but it won’t matter.
Neither of them will beat us, both looked real tired this weekend.

We lost the clearances, kick poorly from set shots and didn’t defend the ground ball particularly well. If it clicks in the next few games the opposition won’t get close.
Clearances were 44 apiece FT. We turned centre clearances around to 13-11 our way after getting smashed first qtr.
I agree we can still improve, I don’t think we are playing our best footy yet.

Jesse had a huge 3rd qtr. Could've almost sealed the match single handed but for 2 posters.
6 contested marks for match, I'm happy for him.

Really difficult to answer. That win last weekend was as emotional and exciting as I can remember. Being at the semis in 2018 also just an unbelievable atmosphere.
But round 22 v Dogs at Whitten Oval probably sits atop. 23 years in finals wilderness, 2 or 3 other crucial games on at the exact same moment that determined our fate literally last minute and Robbie Flowers first and only finals appearance on the line.
I have a feeling it will be topped this September though.

I honestly believe if we win tonight, we will win the flag.
Lose and it is highly likely to be a Port v Lions GF such is the advantage both teams would be given over the other remaining teams.
I think we’ll win tonight.

I don’t like that. I hope Port wins because they’re not great. Can’t see us beating the Cats 3 times in one season.
Well if we win and Cats lose we will likely meet them in the prelim! We have to beat them 3 times unless they go out in straight sets!

I listened to a female Collingwood fan cry on radio with Whateley yesterday when she recalled watching Tracs interview post match on Sat night.
It was very moving and I'm rapt to have others jump on our wagon!

PF: Melbourne vs Geelong

I agree. If that's the best Geelong can dish up we win comfortably.
Goody cracked a bottle of red at halftime tonight.
