Come on port!! They need to put the scoreboard pressure on! Ps how was that holding the ball? Where was prior?

Come on Port! I liked how just before they walked out, the players in a dark corner were watching the crowd singing before the Tigs game.

Most recent note on that I can see is the AFL is/was waiting for the Fed Court outcome. http://m.heraldsun.com.au/sport/afl/afl-to-wait-until-federal-court-case-is-over-to-hit-stephen-dank-with-any-antidoping-charges/story-fni5f22o-1227053025508 -

Good to see Slobbo checking his facts before reporting a story as well. -
Keeps getting worse for the Ravens and the NFL. EPSN running a piece saying the Ravens knew exactly what happened in the elevator, and Biscotti tried to bride Rice to keep with the team line once they sacked him. The Rog's first interview for some time went down like a lead balloon too. Go Broncs, the bastions of goodness, oh and welcome back Wes from your little holiday. Please be careful to not leave your drinks unattended ever again...

So Hardie is a Dank, Dons and Cronulla fan boy of the highest order. If the Dons/Slobbo are using him as their legal eagle I fear for their futures. -

Caught about 5 mins of news last night which just happened to be ABC sports news. Slobbo's statement sounds a lot like the bloke interviewed during the ABC report. Martin Hardie, a lecturer in law at Deakin uni, who has been all over ASADA from day 1. I cant link his Deakin blog for some reason but he is right in Cronulla's corner so much so that in the snippet of Dank leaving the court yesterday Hardie was in the foreground leaving ahead of Dank and was wearing a Cronulla Sharks hoodie. He then initially, quite strangely, looked to be trying to assist Dank by shepherding the camera's away from Dank. So odd I had to rewind the report to view it again and he clearly jumped in front of the oncoming cameras in the first grab of Dank leaving the court. The fact Slobbo is parroting this guy just confirms in my mind Slobbo has no idea and Hardie seems to have an agenda based on his blog. -
Hasn't little Benny had a good year. I thought he was just about done but he has that explosive pace back.

All the Dons blokes at work are shattered and wanting the entire joint cleaned out... let it not happen until they spend some more money on lawyers. -

If he is not dipping into his own sky rocket for a fair amount of this then he needs to go. He is playing a game with the supporters money and is losing big time. -

I would not like to be in the gun of McDevitt ASADA released a statement shortly after the judgment, saying the authority's new CEO, Ben McDevitt, felt validated and that the agency was "steadfastly ... committed" to unearthing the truth of what occurred at Essendon. "Today's judgment vindicates Mr McDevitt's strong belief that the Act always contemplated ASADA working with sports to uphold clean competition. "The only way to stay ahead of sophisticated doping regimes is to partner with sports; not exclude them from the process," the statement said. "Three months ago ASADA CEO Ben McDevitt put formal allegations of possible anti-doping rule violations to 34 current and former Essendon players. These players still have a case to answer under the World Anti-Doping Code and Australia's National Anti-Doping scheme. "Our aim has always been to expose what happened at Essendon in 2012 and we steadfastly remain committed to this." Mick Warner huh... thanks binny. It would be amazing to see the Dons books at the AGM this year to see the cost of lawyers but also the spin doctors costs as well. They have waged a media beat up the opposition war that has been found to be completely out of step with what happened. If the Dons are legit (we know they are not) concerned about the players they will not appeal they will let the process continue on it's due course and deal with the fall out. After the last 12 months the Dons will appeal and appeal and appeal. I also think Dons/Hird will now target the AFL and the people who ran the AFL at the time especially with the little comment from Middleton stating Andruska was pressured by the then Government and the AFL. Where does this leave the Weapon case... Settlement on the way maybe? Looking forward to Whispering Jacks imminent take on it all -

Yes Middleton: No useful purpose would be served by setting aside the notices. Richard Ings @ringsau Follow So the show cause notices stand. The next step would be for ASADA to re-impose its deadline for player responses to those show cause notices -

He was on SEN last night and said he was turning up today, they asked him if he was getting the suit pressed and he could take his Dictaphone in with him, his response: "I have no idea what is going on or what I can take or not". For the chief footy "writer" he has no idea. -

http://www.abc.net.au/sport/offsiders/content/2014/s4073354.htm GW: Do you hold to you previous determination that you will continue to pursue this case regardless of the ruling? BM: Well I think very much depends on the findings, the recommendations, the judgement that would then flow from whatever Justice Middleton decides. That could have quite far-reaching implications for all of the parties involved here. Do I think it is the public interest to know what happened at Essendon in 2012? Absolutely I do. GW: I detect that you're a little less strident today that ASADA will pursue the case against Essendon players regardless of the Federal Court outcome? BM: Well Gerard as I've said I'm passionate about knowing what happened at Essendon in 2012. I think we need to actually know whether or not the environment of experimentation described by Switkowski was true. Did that actually exist? What I can't do is I can't say this will forge on regardless when I don't know what Judge Middleton is going to determine and when I don't know exactly for example if notices were permanently set aside, for example, and I would hope that wouldn't be the case but if that was the case then quite frankly I might be in a position where I'm legally restrained an unable to take certain other action but all I can say to you is yes, I believe it's in the public interest to know what happened at Essendon in 2012 and I remain committed to that as an objection.
