'Couldn't beat teams'? We won the first 10 games the season after our premiership year and finished the season on top of the ladder. Only bad luck and injuries cost us a second flag. Just saying.

Like you praha, I was upbeat after this game. Our future coach must have been able to see what our boys can do and will be confident of a great 2026. Sadly, we have a lot of sad sacks on this forum who can only see the bad and not the good. A bit of positivity would be great. Go Demons 2026.

Well said Jaded. I, in my 80s , really appreciate those 3 glory years. Yes, not just 2021 but 2022 and 23 as well. Injuries cost us more flags, but in my mind we were the best team in the competition for that period of time. I still proudly display my Melbourne Premiers Pennant which I look at every day with much appreciation and love. Go Demons 2026!

Have you forgotten that a couple of weeks ago we gave the bullies a big fright and played an EXCELLENT standard of football as did the WB? We have what it takes. Just wait till we get our new coach and assistants. You need to have more faith in our young, developing team.

I don't really think you could say Oliver is not invested. He tries his guts out week after week. Can't say the same with Trac who is playing in bursts. Love them both though and hate the thought of them playing AGAINST us.

I would love Cam Bruce back as coach. Has had plenty of apprenticeships and is a good student of the game. Excellent CV. Great player and bloke. He would be highly respected by his charges.
