  1. I don’t think it was so much of us failing as it was Gold Coast completely disallowing it to happen. I still think we’re gonna be gunning for him every single year till he doesn’t fit our list demographic.
  2. given how keen we were this year and have been basically every year, we’ll certainly be back here in 12 months time. We’ve done the ground work and have the jump over every other club. If he was unhappy this year it’s only gonna be worse next year when he’s their 5/6 string mid and is locked in the half forward with trac playing the exact same role.
  3. Essendon and Richmond are all over him, doubt we’ll get the chance unfortunately. I would absolutely love him but personally hope we get Doveston and Grlj.
  4. Oh [censored] me I can’t do this anymore😂 they somehow suck me back in every time
  5. Don’t get me wrong I’m being blindly optimistic but I don’t understand why everyone thinks we have no chance next year. (outside of a capital standpoint) it’s been stated multiple times Bailey is open to any club. We’ve been keen on him since his draft year, he’s stated he’d love to play under king, he has connections with many people within the club as well as the hour drive from Casey to Moe. going to a club like Hawthorn he’s gonna find himself in the same position he’s currently in at the suns. Playing behind 3 or 4 different mids. Carlton have zero chance next year being all tied up in the draft, would he really want to go to Collingwood who are about to fall off a cliff? Again it’s blind optimism but the way I see it, he walks straight into our best 22 in a starting mid/half-foward role being a key figure and playing alongside our young core to rocket up back up the ladder. I have faith and I think more people should too.
  6. Well guys this threads been pretty fun. Same time next year?
  7. oh how ive missed jayden hunt
  8. I still have absolute blind faith this gets done, the longer we hold out on them for trac the closer we get to them folding. The interview did absolutely no favours to the suns.
  9. And just like that, we’re all roped back in
  10. Yeah it’s certainly less then ideal
  11. I’m still holding out blind faith he requests a trade in the next few hours. But what’ll be will be, I just think it’s best to get trac out of the club at this point whether that be Humphrey or Picks.
  12. I think there’s a chance if we get 7 and 8 we trade up to try and get duursma. He looked great for Casey those 3 or 4 games he played
  13. Todays my first day off in 12 days, ive had the tab open on my second monitor since i woke up. The constant updates is the happiest ive been in 2 weeks.
  14. Oh baby were on here!
  15. Whether people want to acknowledge it or not it needs to happen. And again whether people want to acknowledge it or not our team isn’t in that bad of a spot. It allows rivers to go in as a full time mid, kozzy more time in the middle, any of the young boys (leb, kolt, harves or even Lindsay) proper midfield time or better yet Humphrey if that does happen. Petty goes back or Jed gets a starting spot developing under Rick. It’s total reset. If we’re [censored] for a year or so, so be it we’ll be better for it.
