I agree. At least at the start of his career, Langford's versatility will mean he should be able to get a game anywhere. Pure mids can struggle early on if they're not quite at the level needed. Jagga by all accounts is a gun and will be fine. But even strong well-built mids like Ryley Sanders struggled early on, and averaged 16.5 disposals for the year. And unfortunately he's a bit useless if he's not playing thru the middle.

I know it would be annoying for supercoach and tipping competitions, but having footy matches spread right out across the week would be huge for free to air TV and pubs. MLB and NBA have games across 6 or 7 days a week and works really well for them. It would also help a lot to support less popular teams like North Melbourne whose game is often overshadowed by another game playing at the same time.

Harry seems to be pretty good at finding space in the forward line to receive a quick clean delivery from an elite mid like Smilie, Reid or Ashcroft. This is a valuable skill, but with the defensive structures at AFL level it's a lot harder to find space than in U18s. Furthermore our forward entries are still awful. So I can see him getting burnt and frustrated.

Kalani is only 200cm at the moment, so he's at the shorter end of today's rucks (see below for a quick reference from ChatGPT). At some point we will need a legitimate replacement for Gawn. Unfortunately most of the potential options don't have the same ability to get around the ground like Gawn does. If we see a good young bloke next year though I say we pounce.
