Do nothing and we're doomed. If he's out of favour I'd settle for Two Metre Peter. Not in form atm but has runs on the board.

Talk of trading Clarry is simply embarrassing. In the top 5 Demons of all time. It could be argued he's No1. 4 B& F and could have had two Brownlows if not for Petracca, and vice versa. Given the tumultuous off season he had I'm amazed with his output thus far and even the fact he's on the park.Clearly no fitness base and flying before the finger injury. My understanding is that we have a first round pick currently standing at 9. This will be affected by FA compensation but I hope not. Can anyone enlighten me on academy picks for Swans, Suns etc?. We have pick 38 in the second round, 42 in the third and a 4th rounder. If we slip below the Suns and Hawks it will be pick 7 without impediments.

With you all the way on this. In many ways it's been the season from hell. First Clarry, then Brayshaw and Smith, Petracca and now Gawn. What are the odds? Forget finals for me. Be competitive for the remainder of the season and finish as low as possible with respectability. Not in the camp of play and win a final. Adds 3 weeks to your season. Hope Battle and Baker stay and get a decent pick in the top 10. Be aggressive in the trade as we have cap space and half a dozen delistings. Aforementioned players have good pre seasons, younger players continue to develop and it all looks very different.* Only caveat is numerous other times coming at the rate of knots 😏

Fair enough but I can't recall a game that Adams has impressed. He rarely gets much of the footy and looks slow. Kentfield is able behind a player like Bell. His chances of 'making it' are negligible.

Whilst not suited to the conditions what on earth did we see in Kentfield? Mind you, didn't seem to bother Bell. 3 disposals. Tracking the same as KFW. Barely seems VFL standard. Jed Adams is better, as one would hope, but is a major concern. 4 disposals as a defender in a losing team is inexplicable.

Someone needs to explain to me why we would overlook Jack Bell who is under our nose to go out and recruit Fullarton and Kentfield? Better ruck than both and showed today he is capable of kicking goals in ordinary conditions. At 23 year of age its got me beat!

Pretty sure that Hunter's contract expires at the end of this season. If we have extended him by another year it's sheer madness. Have I missed something? The original contract definitely expires at the end of 2024.

Unfortunately he does have a two year contract. In the unlikely event he does play he will be monstered by Darcy and Jackson. His ruckwork against Bryan and co. last week was nothing short of embarrassing.
