  1. Me too. He makes our team better. He is not afraid of the contest and a tackle here and there. He was great last week too.

No. Fullarton kicked bags in the seconds before he was considered for AFL team. You need to reward performances. Jeffo needs to find form. JVR before Jeffo.
  3. That was a really poor moment.
  4. I think Fullarton will go out for Roo or Disco next week but I think he's better as second ruck in comparison to Roo. I don't know whether it is fading. I think inaccuracy let us down more than anything and maybe added some complacency. Had those behinds been goals the momentum would have been different.
  5. 💯. Sometimes I wonder whether some demonlanders actually like MFC.
  6. It's the start of the season and we need to rest him when we can. A win is a win and I'll take those 4 points and a rested ruck for next week's game.
  7. I feel like Richmond supporters always complain about this against us? 🤔
  8. Sat in a section full of Richmond supporters, who believe they have been robbed due to free kicks.
  9. I reckon Tracc said it to the leadership group or a few people and it's been passed onto Tom Morris as a bigger thing than it was. Regardless, I'm glad it's being reported by multiple people that he intends to stay. His agent and whoever is leaking want the press to highlight this, which is a good thing.
  10. Why would you rather Campbell? I think it's better to have a key forward who rucks. We need Campbell at Casey to help Verrell and I'd much rather use Campbell when we really need him (if Max needs to be rested or gets injured).
  11. Well, someone wants it known that it allegedly happened. Whoever is leaking to Tom Morris, their Intel is that Trac is staying put. I'd much rather something positive be leaked than something negative like last year.
  12. It's up on the AFL site too.

Well it's looking likely that they won't... Fingers crossed.
  14. They need to send a message. He's a public figure.
  15. And it's not like he's losing income if he doesn't play.
  16. He's lucky. He could have killed that guy.
  17. Today was the first day I tipped against Melbourne. Ever. And I'm no spring chicken. I've never been more glad to be wrong in my life.
  18. We were without our 2 key defenders, and down a key tall in the second half and still won. I'll take the win thanks.

The forwards haven't been performing. The last few weeks people have been calling him out for keeping the same players, even though they weren't performing. Now he drops them and people are complaining. Everyone in the team has been training this new plan. Not rewarding forwards who have been performing at Casey wasn't working. At least he's trying something new. He's keeping defence and midfield largely the same for some consistency. Everyone moans about Goody's stubbornness, but when he finally makes a dramatic change everyone complains. He can't win! If we do get a new coach, expect very dramatic changes every week.

Maybe, but I think we all got carried away by the reports of love and connection.

They did warn us at the start of the season that there would be teething issues with the new plan.
  22. If you can't mark the ball when the midfielders do get the ball to you, then you should be dropped.
  23. I'm so over the conjecture from journalists. This has been going on for 2 years.
  24. I wonder whether he's been offered the captaincy when Max retires and that's why he's staying?

I find Libby Birch's comments very interesting. But I doubt she would have much glimpse of what exactly was going on in the men's league, given they are largely separate. I think she's right to call out Gary Pert for all the attention the men's team got - the women's team were exceptional and didn't get half as much attention.
