Lions will win the flag
-
One more to the Filth here it’s game over
-
I actually kind of want to see Maynard play in another losing GF. It’ll hurt him more.
-
Pies fresher legs going to be a factor here.
-
Absolutely cannot stand Dangerfield. Something about his personality 🤮
-
Not good enough. Harsh but he’s completely sh… the bed at some crucial moments.
-
The intensity of that last 5-7 minutes was insane. Blokes had about .01 second to get rid of the aggot.
-
Giants looking shaky now. That Bedford miss. You cannot waste sodas like that.
-
Bedford had to nail that. Costly.
-
$51 Giants we’re paying 5 weeks ago for flag.

Clarry is better than Green. People have piled on Clarry after this finals series but forget that he missed a huge chunk of football during the season. It affects form. He stormed back after a few games to have his 25-28 touches but he was rusty. Cut him some slack. A fit Clarry is a top 5 in comp player no debate.

Tom Green is a brute of a player. Elevating himself into game’s top 20 this year and finals series.
-
Pies were very average against us and got away with one. This GWS side mean business. Game on.
-
GWS are doing okay here. Pies thrive on a big blowout start but they’ve been thwarted from doing so. Giants are settling.

It seems a lot but take pick 2 and Sanders approval out of the equation. Pick 2 is their rightful pick and word from Cal Twomey is they are unlikely to get Sanders approval. So effectively they are getting pick 3 in and losing McKay, plus an assistance/concession pick 11. As hard as it is to do, put yourself in their shoes for a moment. They’ve won what 12 games and lost 77 over the past 4 years? That’s a bad run and a lot of pain for their supporters any way you slice it. The AFL can’t be helping Gold Coast like they did and not North Melbourne. The league had to have a mechanism whereby they can address serious list issues at struggling clubs. The natural equalisation process of the draft is just not going to do the job sometimes. I think we’re just a bit dirty as Melbourne supporters that we didn’t get as well looked after back in the early 2010’s when all got was pick 3 (Gus Brayshaw) for James Frawley (Free Agent). We didn’t get that extra mid first round pick (11) that the Kangas look like they’re going to receive. Whatever, I would lose any sleep over it. Not all those young North players you’ve listed will be superstars, but they’ll certainly have the nucleus of a side in 2-3 seasons which should challenge for the top 8. And that’s probably how it should be. You can’t have the same miserable clubs anchored to the bottom four for 10 plus years.

You again? It’s becoming a little bit stalkerish now bud. Let it go.

Joel Selwood would be fantastic. Im not a fan of Stewy Dew as a coach. Politically correct people might not like it being said, but a coach presenting themselves to young footballers in a very overweight (practically obese) physical condition is not a good look. How can others take your messages about discipline and getting the best out of yourself as an athlete, when you yourself are clearly not practicing what you preach? Harsh but unfortunately I think a valid opinion about Dew.

Love a good trade rumour Nudge but these days claims of knowing someone ‘AT’ the club can be very tenuous. There are posters said to be from the Dees cheersquad in other threads claiming to basically have a direct line to Goody and Richo, so hard not to take a lot of ‘inside’ info on Demonland with a grain of salt. Keep the rumours coming though. They’re fun and who knows you might just hit paydirt!
-
Not quite. “You’re opinion is wrong” - okay “You’re wrong” - okay “You stink” - not okay (personal attack) If you’ve been here longer than I have you should probably know the rules by now.
-
Not at all. Passionate Dees man here. I’m posting positive, negative and/or neutral comment in a range of threads, from coaching appointments to the draft and trade discussion. I love it, driven by a desire to see us win another flag. If you don’t enjoy reading my posts ignore them or use your ignore function. Easy.

They are absolutely genuine questions, driven by a motivation to get better and do better. If questions create angst in your mind then that’s kind of sad for you. Life ‘ain’t all sunshine and rainbows. I don’t mind Tucker Carlson at times. Pretty brave the way he doesn’t kowtow to mainstream/sheep media narratives if you ask me. His exponentially growing Twitter following of millions and now approaching hundreds of millions of views, would seem to agree. Wouldn’t life be boring if we all thought the same pre-programmed way? Now that’s a prospect to feel angsty about.
