I believe it was actually during the 2K, while under intense shelling using live rounds. There may yet be more casualties. Those that survive will be battle hardened. Might be a good time for some players to see what’s available in some lightweight carbon fibre body armour in case anything is needed later in the season. Ideally we don’t lose too many before the season proper.

A game style that minimises damage from turnovers is obviously required, as the high contest game will naturally produce more turnovers/clangers. But With a fit Tracc Clarrie back... Nice thread and thanks to all of you track-watchers, Trac watchers, Claz watchers and others. We would all like to get to training more regularly, but sometimes, as Shano and others have found out, [censored] can get in the way. I almost turned off a page or so ago, but I’m glad I saw it through. As others have said, I feel that Trac really has a fire in the belly. But not only that. Several others including Clarrie also appear to be really fired up. And there is a genuine closeness again in the group. Great to see so few in the recovery group. It feels like a good omen for the year ahead.

Yeah nah. Don’t think that will happen. I swear I saw a couple players melt last year on one of the hotter days. Asked somebody about it, but they said it was sublime.

I was just glad that people were concentrating on positive role models rather than simply asking him to stand up straight. I think he can be a very handy player. Anything beyond that is a bonus.

Certainly hope not. Would like to think they have got that out of their system. Much fitter squad this year than the past couple. Whatever surgeries required have been completed before pre-season started. Along with natural improvement from younger players. I hold high expectations as should they.

If memory serves, he was leading Chas this year until kneed. Could be his year.
