  1. I believe this game is to be called The Back Page Roasting Cup. One you don't want to win or is that lose.
  2. I am so sick of hearing about Carlton this week, we need to come out in the first quarter and put them to the sword. If we don't and give them even a sniff we will be in trouble.
  3. I have followed Melbourne for so so long and all I wanted was a flag "just the one and I would be happy". That was until we won one now I need another and I need it now. I now know what drives successful clubs.
  4. Game has changed so much, use to be about winning week after week. Now it's getting setup to win flags in September. I think we are just starting to work that out now. Be fit and ready when it counts.
  5. Both Oscar McDonald and Marty Hore look like getting another chance tonight. Oscar going to Sydney will be interesting, they have a history of redeveloping players and a spot in the backline for him.
  6. And now Rory Laird got off as well just to keep the masses quite.
  7. Thought Goodwin comments today were in relation this. Gleeson must have heard him and said F--k you.
  8. Long hair defense did it. Now the AFL needs to appeal this, but they wont.
  9. Oh no the Carlton Lawyers have brought out the long hair defense. How can you tell if his head hits the ground when his hair is so long.
  10. It's just a connection problem at the moment. The back-line problem is caused by the lack of pressure up-field. We also have too many players trying to save the day instead of the unselfish style we had in 2021. Little disappointed that the players coming in are not grabbing their chance to cement a spot. However I believe we are building and it will click real soon.
  11. We opened very short and then drifted but since late Monday all the money is one way going on us.
  12. We won two in a row think 2017 and 2016.
  13. Was never going to come in this week.
  14. And of course - The circus to continual Carlton FC @CarltonFC · 25m UPDATE: We will be challenging Adam Cerra’s rough conduct charge.
  15. I know but they push us to the limit every time we play them.
  16. War has just broken out at Carlton with Craig Mathieson quitting the board after a bust up with club president Luke Sayers.
  17. No point. If you picked the card you have used up all your luck for the season and beyond.
  18. Ive only had the one tip right so far this weekend and that was the AFL sanctioned W/C freebee.
  19. As good as Butters and Company look I still believe that if Aliir Aliir is injured they will come right back to the field.
  20. Noticed that there was an interchange countdown on the score board yesterday. Is that standard for all games or only started after the North stuff up.
  21. Footy is becoming unwatchable. Need to go back to three Umps with the fourth watching from the stand. The AFL need to do something about it but wont.
  22. I went a bit early.
  23. Expected a lot more from The Tiger today. Hardwick would be gutted "watching from home" by the lack of response so far.
  24. They match up well the Melbourne and always push us even when they are [censored]. If we don't bring our A game we will get beaten.
  25. Got the train down yesterday, three and a half hour journey. Was a family on the train with four young kids all wearing Hawks Jumpers. Remember think you're in for a long trip home and I'm going to be happy as. Got that well and truly wrong.
