  1. Interesting. Last night a Port Player did not leave the field though the interchange gate. Someone posted the footage and asked the question last night. L AWS OF AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL 2022 25PART C 7. INTERCHANGE 7.1 INTERCHANGE STEWARD – APPOINTMENT AND DUTIES A Controlling Body may appoint two Interchange Stewards to officiate during a Match. The Interchange Stewards shall: (a) be positioned throughout the Match at or near the Interchange Area; (b) monitor and approve the interchange of Players made by each Team during a Match; and (c) report to the field Umpire any infringement by a Team of this Law 7. 7.2 PROCEDURE FOR INTERCHANGE The following procedure shall apply to the interchange of Players during a Match who are listed on the Team Sheet: (a) unless Law 7.3 applies, the Players intending to interchange shall leave and enter the Playing Surface through the Interchange Area; (b) where a Player does not leave or enter the Playing Surface as specified under Law 7.2(a), the Interchange Steward shall report the breach to a field Umpire and the following shall apply: (i) the field Umpire shall stop play at the first available opportunity; (ii) a field Umpire shall award a Free Kick to the nearest Player of the opposing Team; and (iii) a Fifty Metre Penalty shall then be imposed from the position where the Free Kick was awarded. For the avoidance of doubt, Law 7.2 operates in conjunction with Law 5.5 where a Team has more than the permitted number of Players on the Playing Surface
  2. How to tank page 76.
  3. Taken the heat off the boundary ump from last night.
  4. Wouldn't be singing the song after that. The Kangaroos concede a goal to give the lead back as a result of an interchange breach which gifts the Swans a goal from the goal line after a 50 metre penalty. The Kangaroos used a 76th interchange which prompted the free kick. -
  5. The ump said something about the interchange,
  6. Wow what was that for.
  7. New game plan 24 coaches lined up to have a go, one week at a time then fired. Maybe an extra three for the finals.
  8. North having a dip or are The Swans just that bad at the moment.
  9. New rule-- First to 111 win.
  10. Hopefully the AFL can see that it's injuries and sickness and no priority pick is needed.
  11. Getting some game time into Jordan for next week.
  12. Just like daddy. I like a forward who can mark. Might have found he's spot.
  13. Don't want to push gambling but the early odds for next week are a bit much.
  14. I will watch closely today. I thought they threw it in then turned and moved one way or the other. Maybe he just knew it was a bad throw and moved that way. Not saying we could have won but it took any chance out of the equation.
  15. That final throw in. Why was the umpire moving towards the Port goals as he threw the ball in. And moving at speed.
  16. If Hunter is suspended does that allow Langdon to play on the other wing for the week. They seemed to swap sides at the start of the year.
  17. Port simply could not and will not play better. As for us, why we can't change how we play to suit the conditions is beyond me. About time the club made an official complaint about how Gawn is treated on the field.
  18. Because every one on the ground knew it should have been an extra 50mt.
  19. Imagine if that throw in cost a grand final.
  20. Who has gone off for JJ.
  21. Give him the car.
  22. How the hell has that happened.
  23. I think it's tears.
