Ah Chee is set to miss another week due to the concussion he received, but my main concern is that the Blues / Pies game is a sellout.
AFL got what they wanted.
Is it because of the 12 day rule Aug 7 to 19 or his concussion is serious. AFL is a joke. Cripps misses no games. All about ticket sales. Corruption.

Carlton collingwood at MCG listed as a sellout on tiketek. its only Tuesday ffs.
presumably only MCC seats + standing room available.
could they give 100k a nudge.

Gee that footage from footy classified looked bad. From the North / Ess game.
Just took a peek at the Hangar facilities at Tulla for the first time.
It looks very impressive. You'd think Essendon would be doing alot better. MFC facilities look like a tin shed in comparison.
That club must be an absolute mess at managerial level. Rutten cant be blamed for everything.
They'll definitely go all in for Clark Kent.

Yes and no.
Voss is doing exactly that at Carlton. Another 12 months and they might be top 4.
Fagan as a first time coach at lowly Brisbane and now doing a very good job.
Ten years ago your comments would have been spot on. These days it's more case by case. I think Ooze is a terrific coach-in-waiting. If he doesn't succeed at GWS or North I reckon he's too good to be overlooked at another club that suits his approach.
But hey, let's hope he stays for the 3 peat!
stay for the 3 peat.!!
Now there's confidence.
I'll take B2B for now.
You dont want to be that positive on DL. You'll upset all the doom and gloomers.
If Yze does go i hope its to GWS so maybe we can do some player swaps and snag a few forwards.

I couldnt understand why most posters wanted pies to lose. Now we're in real pickle. Pies winning was much better as they have a putrid %. Swans% better than ours. And they play garbage next week.
-
Rutten probably lucky if he's not coaching next week. Richmond will mangle them.

Was our last interstate loss against the crows around June 2021?

Freo could be in trouble. Weather forecast for Sydney this weekend is cold and wet . GWS could knock them off if it rains.

How about a draw of Friday night. Finish 4th and play the Cats. Their record after a week off is appallingly bad, even this year they struggled to beat the Eagles after the bye.
Try 3 weeks off for cats this year.
Eagles game will be a light training run with drills followed by the finals bye then another week to the QF.
Why not try Bowey in Spargo's place. He has defensive skills and likes to kick a goal.
-
You know youre in trouble when you need to rely on saints to win a game.......any game.
Pointless worrying about next week. We are first cab off the rank on Friday night then we sit back and watch the weekend unfold . Nothing else you can do.

Heads are going to roll at Essendon after that insipid performance. The straw that broke the camels back for sure.
Does North try and win this weekend avoiding B2B wooden spoons or do they flop around lose and take 1st draft pick. The player will probably refuse to sign up...lol

I bet they wouldnt say it to his face.
Obviously p..off Carlton supporters. Kossie kicked the winning goal and broke their little hearts re.media.

This is a great take.
True , but if Hawthorn can go three peat 13 14 15 surely b2b is highly possible. We can beat any of the better sides.
No key injuries, Petracca picks up form and a little luck and the cup is ours.

Why do posters want swans to win. We cant finish 2nd. Imagine relying on Saints to do the right thing by us. Hilarious!
You all must really hate Collingwood...lol

Still not sure who I want to win out of Syd & C'wood to increase the chances we finish in the top 4 IF we lose to Brisbane (yes, sorry, I'm looking at the pessimistic case). I think in that case we want C'wood to thrash Sydney and Sydney to not get their percentage up in the last round? Views?
Best scenario ....Coll beat swans but lose to Carlton r23.
We beat lions we finish 2ND. Pies % is putrid.
Cant rely on Stkilda helping us and swans % will likely finish higher than ours.

Richmonds already booked their finals berth today against Hawks.
If things dont go well for us next week we could run into Richmond in a EF.
Ugly.

Carlton lack experience on the big stage and were contesting with each other for marks in the final minutes. Dees stood back and took the crumbs. We kick goals when it really counts. That acting performance by the Carlton defender holding onto Melks was pathetic and the umpire rightly pinged him for it. Should cop a fine as well.
Hunt Rivers Melks and Hibberd all cranking up for September.
Petracca looks flat . Is he carrying an injury?

I wish people would get off Ben Brown's case. No way will he be dropped. Works his [censored] off and constantly gets to a contest and knocks the ball clear for the crumbers.
His last contest resulted in the winning goal. Opposition backs are paranoid about ganging up on him. That leaves space for Kozzie and co.
Maybe Harmes comes in for a tagging role.
Thats all.

Eagles at the Cattery next week. Too easy for them.

North hit the lead, surely pick 1 is worth more to a new coach than showing a big late.
No way...... You play to win. Look at the problems North is having with its 2021 1 st draft pick. Avoiding the wooden spoon far more important. Top picks might feel happy at North if they finish the year strongly.

How many sides have played their A game against us this season then they turn putrid the next week and some for weeks after.
There's been a few of them.
What the hell has happened to the crows?
Theyre almost as irrelevant as GWS.
Played in a GF not long ago. North might knock them off at AO today.

If Melbourne let Carlton do as they please and Cripps roughs up a few of our players without brutal retaliation from us we'll probably lose half the membership base for '23.
Get the job done dees . No talk about yesterdays players no matter how respected they are.
Get it done.!!

It wasnt Collingwood that stopped us.....we did.
We were well in front of the Lions the round before building up vital % that would of made it too hard for the eagles to catch us in r23 . Then Melbourne stopped and useless Wagner under no pressure kicked the ball straight to a lions player and the run was on. Lions piled on the goals, we still won but we blew our % gap against the eagles.
Melbourne naturally lost to Collingwood . Eagles needed to beat injury hit Crows by 29 points from memory. They did exactly that! They pushed us out of the finals by 0.5%.
We missed finals in 2017 because we Melbourned the last 15 minutes against the lions thanks to Wagner (delisted).
