  1. Hawthorn and Geelong are the teams i loath the most. They humiliated us for years. Even today we still struggle against Hawthorn and will in 2023.

Collingwood supporters dont know any better because of their lack of breeding. They dont bother me as much.

Essendon , no issues there except for one game...2000GF.

I thought Brisbane has a horrible record at the Gabba in finals?

Didnt the umpires get the Bulldogs over the line at the gabba last year?

No way will MFC get a fair deal from the umpires  like clubs such as the dogs. Last year we did ok under different circumstances. This year  highly unlikely.

This weeks Carlton game  might be a shocker atleast poster boy Cripps wont be there.

  3. Unfortunately it may be the best scenario  that Pies keep winning their H&W games which guarantees both QF at the Mcg.

We finish 4 or 3rd  , doesnt matter. We can beat both of the top2.

A Swans final at the SCG or Lions at the gabba is game over.

Due to concussion, Ah Chee will miss this week - but he should also miss the next 10 for allowing his face to interfere with Cripps'

There should be a penalty if you lose an appeal. Its just a waste of everyones time.  Carlton have nothing to lose. AFL is so badly run. Amateurs running a professional league.

  5. 1 or 2 weeks but then Carlton   likely to appeal with little to lose and then the media circus  goes into overdrive same as the all week Buddy fiasco before our game with the swans. The AFL is run  by amateurs. Lose the appeal and sentence doubled.  Pure and simple.

  6. The AFL draw definitely shaped the look of the eight this year. Geelong and Swans  got Norf twice + % boost. Geelong also got two bites at the eagles .

Geelong are laughing at the moment. Too easy for them. Everyone in the 8 has to fight for their lives except Geelong.

Hope they go out in straight sets.  Too many soft  H & AW games.

  7. You would play a fit  Jesse Hogan  next week against Carlton if available.  Wont happen obviously.  We would certainly get him OOC  for light coin. If he had an injury free season  kicked goals and May stopped street fighting we 'd win the flag blindfolded.

  8. Great to see the W. Bulldogs gone for 2022. Just goes to show that cheating and getting the rub of the green week in week out doesnt pay dividends. Couldnt of watched if we played them in an elimination final with the umpires applauding Bont as he runs down the race. Grossly overated team.  2016 flag was a fluke assisted by the maggots.

I wish posters would stop saying the other clubs have figured us out everytime we lose.

What if Geelong lose to the Suns in QLD. Its possible.Theyre not the same team away from the cattery.

Are you going to say the Suns have 'worked them out'.

I've lost interest in the games on this evening. I've flicked over to the Commonwealth Games where we've already snagged another 3 gold

Are you serious?  There would be hundreds of brilliant  child athletes in America and Europe  that have never heard of the Commonwealth games. Its embarrassing. Dump it.

Give me AFL in Bangkok anyday.  Even the Corporate Olympics are boring.  Gold medals? Who did those social media knobs  beat?

    Embarrassing .

Bring on Carlton next week. Thats action

  10. Swans get North second time round. % booster will put them ahead of us.

We win one more game and we finish in the MCG home finals bracket 4,5 and 6.(assuming Geelong are 1 which they will be playing eagles at the cattery in r23.)

If we hit our best  we could win the flag from 5 or 6 or 2nd. Why not?

We finish 6 we get a weaker opponent than finishing 1st or 2nd.

Much better finishing top2 but can be done in a season like this one re...2016.

  11. Of course we can still win it. Our best is still the best. We need to sort out the backline. Gave up 200+ points against Bulldogs and Pies. Unthinkable in 2021. Forward line is kicking enough goals to win games. Fix the backs and the forwards will deliver.

Geelong will tire on the MCG, Lions are pretenders, Swans  deserve respect and could go to the big dance and Collingwood are running on 8 cylinders at 200km/h  without brakes. Classic Collingwood good average side boistered by massive crowds, intimidated umpires and astonishng run of luck. Wont last.

  12. No problem. Relax.  Transfer  our home game  against Carlton anywhere as long its not at the The G.   Max  Gawn says constantly  that  the team  bond when they play interstate. Thats true!  We dont lose and then Brisbane mob in Qld in r23   ok no big deal.We finish 4th we hit Geelong  in the QF.

Good chance we win the flag at the MCG. Dont play at the MCG in H & W games with all this PC nonesense especially against the filth.  They laugh and they beat us  everytime. MFC  do it every year against them. Wake up.   Bangkok City calling you. Stop being so nice all the time. Do Collingwood care??

Only Frankston? How about girls with tatts from St Albans? Asking for a friend. 😁

Been a while since i lived in OZ.

Bacchus Marsh used to cut up pretty feral in the 80 and 90's. See no reason why things would change.

  14. I like the "Friday weather forecast... FIRE- moderate chance   .... really?  At the game?   NWind is interesting. unusual for August. that means there could be a strong advantage kicking to the punt rd end first.Might get a little drizzle. I'd definitely be going if in town.

Why wont filth supporters turn up on account of it being a Melb home game?  So what!  They had theirs on Queen Lizzy Birthday . Theyre 10-0. ffs What else are they going to do. Can you visit relatives and mates at Barwon Prison on Friday night?  I doubt it.

Only problem is late start at almost 8pm. Half the crowd will have drunk a skin full  waiting for the  bounce.   There will definitely be fights during and  especially after the game if pies lose. I wouldnt be taking any  kids. Men only night or maybe a few Frankston girls with tatts.

Gil Mc Lachlan is a clown.

If that scenario played out, that would be two very tough opponents to open the finals series given how much grief those two sides have given us in the Goodwin era.

Friday nights game will tell us alot about both sides.  This is a must win for Melbourne. If we are going B2B this where our campaign starts with a finals size crowd and atmosphere. Its going to be huge.
