They mentioned on Fox Footy that the second quarter last night was our best scoring quarter since the Bang Bang Bang in 2021 , and very similar in that we were smashing them at stoppages.

What about that second quarter. The main issue has been that we play a great quarter here and there, but can't seem to be able to put 4 consistent quarters in a single match.

This is true, so this off season will be key in defining the short term success of this list. Should have some draft capital and cap space to make 2 or 3 interesting moves.

Those people in yellow/green are never accountable for anything, they can stink up a game and still be rewarded with more games. Where's the umpire review board or something of that nature? I guess they keep things semi professional, as they are not even paid as professional umpires.

I hear you but this most definitely feels like the last dance for Milkshake. I can't see him playing next year so, if he's going to play this year at all do it sooner rather than later (we won't be playing in September).

We are having way too many goalless quarters, even multiple in a single match. This has been one of the main reasons to find ourselves in this position today (likely to miss finals).

I am really very pleased with Rivers. Just needs to improve decision making and some more polished disposal skills, could be a gun midfielder with great pace and size, like a Cripps but with silky smooth use of the ball.

We do need a refresh in the coaching staff though. Mark Williams kicking school hasn't produced the desired results. We have a ruckman as fwd line coach.

Too bad we didn't take the two first rounders last season. I guess in hindsight with the resurgence of TMac we definitely didn't need him, not if he was going to perform like he has.

Not much that can be done now. Our percentage is too low. Petracca is out. And we still don't have the best fwd line. I think we should keep playing the kids as much as possible, and start to think the strategy and selection for next year.

Is the Petty fwd experiment finished? Surely if Melksham can start next game we can send Petty back to his natural position?

I have the belief that the situation up in Brisbane is the same as in Port. Wasted great lists and home ground advantage for years, and the coach could be sacked soon due to lack of finals success. Although Fagan has more credit because at least they got to a GF unlike Port. I do hope we can contribute to that this week 🤞🏻.
