  1. Dang. I wish they would stop changing the times, I'm down in Melbourne at the moment. Was looking forward to going to training tomorrow.
  2. LOL, okay then! Apart from having a hearty appetite, how is Shane?
  3. Dang, I could've eaten a bunch of that, even the dessert! Didn't even know this event was taking place. Life goals for next year I guess.
  4. Running around flapping his wings, making the others copy him 😂
  5. Wishing Maysie the best in his retirement and thanks for everything he's given the club. I've no idea how hard it has been for him to come up again after some of the injuries he's had but he's a tough 'un. Edited to add that I'm feeling a bit gutted with the news even though I expected it.
  6. There's certain movements and manipulations that can determine what is wrong with a knee. I saw a physio 30 years ago and he checked out my knees after I subluxed a kneecap. He thought I'd done my ACL until he checked the other knee and it did the exact same thing. If I remember correctly, he pulled my lower leg forward whilst holding my thigh still. If things move further than they should, or don't move when they should, there's a problem. (Or you are hypermobile, like me.) The scans confirm things. Also ACLs often bleed, which fills the inside of the knee with blood and stiffens/supports it, so the above tests might not be as accurate as they could be.
  7. Have you washed it yet?
  8. Glad I didn't decide to drive down, go harass my sister and then head to training this week, as I'd be at the wrong place. Thanks for the heads up!
  9. I think a few might be suffering from training yesterday. AMW looked unwell to me, lots of sitting and looking pale, and disappeared behind the shed at AAMI Park. Melksham wandered off too in the usual direction.
  10. Salo having work done on his hammy, running it out. McAdam and AJ running the boundary. Both participated in the drills.
  11. I admit, my memory doesn't stretch back to much. The only reason I have any knowledge of The Golden Era is because I'd read my mother's scrap books religiously. Anything before then or from 1965 to about 1980 didn't exist. Most of the 2010s don't either cos I was in the States. Aka I don't do quizzes much.
  12. The girls' toilets didn't have any of those troughs, just sayin...
  13. Club has an update on Culley. Broken arm, into surgery tomorrow, expected to miss four weeks.
  14. I'm not sure but I think I saw McAdam walking back to the G when I arrived at training around 10am. He was not wearing a flame head training top. He was talking to a trainer then walked off on his own. Poor dude's a Ferrari, he's always in the garage being fixed.
