There is no VFL 2s. Casey has a list of players who are called upon, depending on the availability of listed players who are automatic selections. Spots at Casey can be hard to get where Melbourne has a short injury list. Casey players play for their local club when not picked at Casey. Some Casey listed players go a season without call up. Very tough gig.
