Spots at Casey can be hard to get where Melbourne has a short injury list. Casey players play for their local club when not picked at Casey. Some Casey listed players go a season without call up. Very tough gig.

There will be stumbles. And many come from difficult backgrounds. But overall, great. Always looking for a error from any player from any team. Post match player interviews are inevitably boring. However our AFL players come across as JFK and Martin Luther King compared to the tennis players. Malthouse was a disgrace in his surly post match interviews...plumber turned pseudo nuclear physicist/philosopher I feel sympathy for players that would prefer not to do them.

I have met many VFL/AFL coaches over the years. Most would take 2 hours to watch 60 minutes. Supporters are locked out of training sessions so that the coaching group can pretend that they have something special. In my opinion.
