  1. Could be Murphy
  2. True, but can he run and jump at the ball? At his best he can, at his most compromised he can't. He will have been able to show this at VFL level.
  3. It's not really about the opposition though, it's about his freedom of movement. We know he can compete strongly at the top level if he has that.
  4. Yes, lucky he plays for Carlton. 2022 Brownlow*
  5. On KBW we were in a Melbourne section completely surrounded by Collingwood supporters - I think they're onto it.
  6. Yes you can - click on the highlighted section you want.
  7. I agree with that, I like behind the goals too. N3 is great - undercover too, P runs the risk of getting wet if it rains. I got Q2 Row A - there's the metal bar on the balcony which is a bit obscuring, I prefer a row a bit further back but wasn't game to try again.
  8. Got your flights?
  9. Got tix in my preferred Q2 Row A - went pretty seamlessly for me. Good luck to everyone else in your quest.
  10. Maybe Berley Laurie can lure him across.
  11. Surely Hardwick wants to keep him?
  12. From their list: B: Quaynor Moore Stewart HB: Dawson Weitering Sinclair C: J.Daicos Bontempelli Gulden HF: D.Martin C.Curnow Breust F: C.Cameron Larkey T.Greene R: Marshall Petracca N.Daicos I: Sicily Butters Neale Liberatore
  13. Sydney would have to be concerned at their major last quarter fade outs against Adelaide and Melbourne. Last week 0.1 to 4.8, yesterday 0.2 to 4.4, that's 0.3 to 8.12. Carlton should be feeling confident if they are close at 3 quarter time. No-one seems to be talking about this in the media.* * Saw this was highlighted on AFL Media's Access All Areas
  14. That's not correct. Casey are playing Footscray at Box Hill Oval on Saturday at noon. Collingwood are playing Williamstown on Saturday at 3pm. Anyone in the frame for the QF the following Thursday is unlikely to play or if they do it will be limited minutes.
  15. I find it's generally better to save my froth for things that actually happen.
  16. Thursday is less time for Moore and Daicos to get up too. That's also a win.
  17. We've got plenty of time to prepare for the match it's hardly a short break. As some have posted, if we don't win it's better that we have more time to prepare for the SF than our opposition. If we lose we'll get the Friday SF then then a Saturday PF. Two 8 day breaks. If we win - flag in the bag baby!
  18. They've got both Moore and Murphy to come back into that backline. I'm not sure Howe plays back there. They might even prefer Markov. They've actually got a selection squeeze especially if they do go with Cox and Cameron which looks likely. Maybe Howe back and Markov sub but that still leaves 3 marking forwards.
  19. De Goey is a very good player but he's not in Petracca's class. @DeeSpencer is making claims about how we weren't impressive against Sydney and we should be worried about De Goey and Pendlebury. Yeah they're very good. But they should be [censored] themselves about Petracca, Oliver and Viney. Who would you rather have?
  20. McStay, Cox/Cameron, Mihocek and probably Howe?
  21. Seriously De Goey isn't fit to lick Petracca boots. You know the guy that broke the game open today and the 2021 GF.
  22. Gulden was tremendous but Hunter and Langdon were also very effective and important to our win. They aren't playing a negative role specifically on Gulden. Note that for all his efforts his team his team was comprehensively beaten with everything to play for on their home deck. It's about the big picture.
  23. Hunter and Lingers on the wings were relentless - 92% and 94% game-time. They were everywhere.
  24. Grundy great goal from the ruck contest in the goal-square. Interesting to see Blake Howes as runner
  25. You don't need a medical reason to deploy the sub this year.
