Off the back of this question, why do we press up so high? A footy ground is much bigger than a basketball court and I don't think we have the fitness to execute this properly. Last line of defence shouldn't be half way up the ground.
I think we need him in the middle to try and get the ball in our forward half in the first place. Clearances would become a bigger issue if we pulled him out of there.
This reminds me of Mayzie famously saying we should've smoked the Pies in the 2023 QF.
I wish we could win games we should win, rather than lose games we should win.
It looks to me that every bay has seating available in the Northern stand (apart from those behind the stage). It's comparatively emptier on the map compared to the Southern stand due to most of the Northern stand only having three levels for seating (apart from P42-45 in the MCC Members), compared to the Southern stand's four.
I’m envisaging in 12 months’ time the media raving about him as a steal, the Bobby Hill of this year’s trade period, miraculously becoming a star and propelling the Dogs back into the top four.
Not sure about a massive shake-up, but something hasn’t seemed to be there as much since 2021. We’re not selfless and playing for each other like we did. Not celebrating the one-percenters, picking each other off the ground, patting each other on the back.
Some random category 1 tickets were available on Ticketek when I checked a couple of minutes ago. Worth checking out for anyone who is still in need.
edit - they seem gone now.
It's also won and lost by lots and lots of contests all throughout the match. The men selected are the ones who need to win the majority of those contests to win the match. I agree that pressure is of great importance but team selection also is.
