  1. Gawn is a [censored] colossus
  2. Melksham's goal from outside 50 in the final quarter of the semi final was high up there too. The crowd went absolutely nuts after that.
  3. Bump. I know it's easy to make big calls after a win like today but this guy continues to push his case for being the greatest ruckman of all time. Up until last year I thought it was splitting hairs between him and Cox but I reckon Gawn has him covered now. I've never seen a ruckman take control of a game like Gawn has. He has no right to be this durable and athletic for a giant who is going to be 34 at the end of the year.
  4. [censored] yeah! I haven't been this proud of the club in a long time. Gawn is a bloody champion, Bowey continued to excel, and Oliver and Trac both had their best games in weeks. And it's impossible for me not to mention Melksham. I [censored] love that guy. He's the most clutch forward on our list. This is the first time all year I've actually felt confident we can turn things around.
  5. Imagine if his performance at parties was based on his demonland persona. That would be an interesting experience to say the least.
  6. I thought at three quarter time that our misses would come back to haunt us and that's exactly what happened. Yes, the umpiring was [censored] but we completely shot ourselves in the foot with both our set shots and our f50 entries. Too many of the same players are underperforming. JVR still seems to have no idea what he's doing. Fritsch killed our momentum missing two regulation shots. Oliver looked as flat as I've ever seen him. On the flipside, Langford is a [censored] gun. Amazing how a 19 year old can show much more composure in front of goals than any of our senior players.
  7. Gawn has given Hawthorn countless servings for nearly 10 years so I'm not surprised that their supporters are singing his praises.
  8. I feel like people take Gawn for granted sometimes. I really don't think it's likely we're ever going to have a ruckman like him ever again. It's crazy to think that he might have the same number of AA selections as Ablett Jnr and Buddy Franklin by the end of the year.
  9. Gawn is an absolute legend. That's all I gotta say.
  10. Borderline narcissistic to thumbs down or vomit every comment without ever actually providing any counter arguments
  11. Will take the win of course but jesus that last quarter was frustrating. We really need to learn how to run out games properly if we want to have a decent number of wins. As far as individual highlights go, Gawn reminded everyone of how much of a champion he is and Bowey has officially won me over.
  12. Oh get [censored]
  13. It can't be a coincidence that we lift as soon as Trac and Oliver get going. And Langdon should never get a haircut again. He's so much better with long hair.
  14. Your goal Viney
  15. 27 free kicks in a single half is simply insane. I don't usually care about the umpiring but it has been at an all time low tonight. Are the umpires trying to insert their ego or what?
  16. I had this fantasy that maybe the Fremantle game was a sign that we would finally play a more watchable and attacking game style
  17. Pickett played like Jeff Farmer is his prime today. We are an immensely better team when he's in that sort of form.
  18. Brilliant kicking by Langdon. Quietly having a great season so far.
  19. Pickett is our most watchable player by a mile
  20. Yeah it really annoys me the way some people start to grossly overrate players as soon as they leave. People did the same thing to Jayden Hunt (a terrible kick and a terrible decision maker) and Lynden Dunn (an over the hill defender).
  21. Don't disagree with that either
  22. AFL is an entertainment business. Supporters have every right to watch whatever happens in front of them. It's not up to you to lecture people about the way in which they support.
  23. You don't seem to get it. Sacking a struggling coach during the season might not have an immediate impact but it can be very beneficial in the long run. Compare the Melbourne at the end of Neeld's run to the Melbourne at the end of Roos' run. Not in the same [censored] ballpark. And Brisbane were already in contention two years after they sacked Leppitsch. Letting Goodwin stay till the end of the year will be unbelievably dumb if these are the performances we keep on getting. The players look completely drained by his 'system.'
  24. Yep he's done. I don't buy into the myth that we're just trying out a new gameplan and that we should all be patient. That's such a massive cop out. We're completely devoid of any gameplan or any system at all. Goodwin has done some good in the past but he has well and truly overstayed his welcome. It pains me to say it because I used to be a big supporter of his.
  25. @Ducky What the [censored] is your problem? Using the vomit emoji every time someone expresses happiness at something good that happens
