  1. The frequency of score reviews in this quarter is ridiculous. It flies in the face of the AFL’s desire for fast, free-flowing footy. It definitely is for advertising Crypto.com, otherwise they’d send the ball back to the middle and review it in that 30 seconds, which is what they do anyways (review every goal).

But he knows what he is talking about in his analysis of player positioning and and what they are trying to do.

Other commentators do this too. But they don’t try to make Martin Luther King sound like he’s having a chin-wag with a buddy for S&Gs.

It takes 2 parties to make a relationship work.

EXACTLY!!! I can’t believe people are still carrying on about this, especially when they clearly don’t know enough to justify passing judgement.

Brereton is the most patronising commentator. He’s just so condescending.

I cannot stand him. He says every single comment like it’s the most profound thing you’re ever gonna hear. In his mind, every time he draws breath to make a comment he’s the Dalai Lama and we’re his devoted adherents.

Going back to the filth match, why did the commentators insist on calling Hill "Bobby Hill" when he was the only player on the ground with that surname?

They did it EVERY TIME he got the ball, well other than the 2 times (in a row) that Der-Wayne called him "Bobby".

I think this issue is more interesting than any discussion about the Swans/GC snoozefest.

You a little obsessed about this name thing, Bingers? 😅

I could be wrong but I think it's more related to him having no respect for us after 8+years of being shizen. Similar to Stevie J pretending to falling asleep while singing their song after beating us. No idea if that attitude has changed over recent years.

That was James Kelly pretending to fall asleep during the song, and iirc he was duly sch!tt-canned for doing so by the media and neutral supporters, in general.

I can’t imagine a player despising a club to the point of not considering a move to that club based only on that club’s dark past. Especially when that club has been successful of late including having won a premiership recently. If Yeo despises the Dees, there must be some other reason. Maybe a personal reason. 🤷‍♀️

    We/Us/Our = MFC

    They/Them/Their = Everyone else.

This makes it easy to distinguish between the two.

On the train home after a pleasant afternoon at Marvel Stadium. Strong win by the Blues, a Blues side missing quite a few important players with injury.

Cool. Just the perfect post for a Dees forum.

So far the results of this round have gone 100% according to the proportion of insufferable jerks who will tell you all about it on monday.

So, cue up West Coast, Sydney, Geelong and Hawthorn.
