PODCAST: Rd 15 vs Geelong
Logged on to Demonland and was going to post about how Dees have really struggled this year in the wet conditions but see that someone beat me to it and has already started a thread about this. This year we have played 3 games in wet conditions, Essendon, Port & now Geelong and in all 3 games we have struggled in these conditions. We just can't seem to adjust our gameplan to play in the wet so what is the solution?

GAMEDAY: Rd 15 vs Geelong
This. Do NOT underestimate Chris Scott and his ability to do his homework on a team and exploit any weaknesses. He doesn't get caught napping and he will be all over us if we play predictable. Hopefully we continue our 2023 tactical form of mixing things up. I'm more confident going into this match than I have been in past matches against the Cats but that could fly out the window very early if the Cats get a fast start like they did last week. Hopefully they run out of gas like they did last week but we can't bank on that. Teams always seem to find another gear against us. Look at Freo the other week.

PODCAST: Mid Season Review 2023
The podcast has gone to another level this year. My sincere thanks to all involved. Each of you bring something different to the table and it is very clear that a lot of time and effort goes into the format and analysis. If you have time I would love to get your thoughts and opinions on our run home? What are the danger games and are you concerned that our potential lead in to the finals could be deemed as "soft" with games against Adelaide (if they still can't win out of SA), Richmond (if finals are out of their reach), North in Tassie (is our Tassie hoodoo over), Carlton (hopefully blind freddy will see they are tanking by then), Hawthorn (just lay down for us this time you've got nothing to prove) & the Swans (hopefully they are not playing for their coach's swansong)? Keep up the great work. LOVE LOVE LOVE the podcast.

PODCAST: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Round of applause for Judd McVee for his game this week (and last week, in fact for his whole season). He is fast becoming one of my favourite players. The kid never looks flustered even on the big stage in front of 85,000 people. He's skillful, balanced & poised. He is a great judge of the play and knows when to leave his man. This was best highlighted when he left his man and forced the turnover that ended with the Hunter bump (great highlight too) that ended with Grundy having a shot for goal. Can't believe he hasn't received a rising star nomination yet but I'm positive he'll have one by season's end.

PODCAST: Troy Chaplin Interview
Sensational interview @Demonland. I really enjoyed that one. Troy is very well spoken and seems to have a sound knowledge of the game. We're lucky to have him.

Couple of big matchups in defence on Kings Birthday. The bigs Mason Cox, Ash Johnson & Brodie Mihocek. All 3 are have given us problems before. Pains me to say it but I’m worried the most about Cox. Who takes who? We usually struggle against the Charlie Cameron/Tom Papley type small forwards. Who runs with Bobby Hill?

PODCAST: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast
It's no secret that we have not had a settled backline this season with injuries to some key members at different times May, Lever, Hibbo and Salo and Petty playing forward. We also seem to struggle once the ball hits he deck. Teams are finding it very easy to score against us in the chaos. Is this a symptom of not getting a good run of the same 6 or 7 players or is the ball coming in too quick? I fear some of the stronger teams will destroy us.
